A great option for eating and attending the theatre

The location is superb, just around the corner from the Princess theater, and surrounded by lots of dining options. The staff are very friendly and professional, the happy hour was very popular and the breakfast was really satisfying. We will be coming back again.

ON ALL COUNTS YOU WON'T FIND BETTER IN MELBOURNE

We keep coming back to Lancemore Crossley Street year after year because it simply ticks all boxes. The location at the top of Little Bourke Street is unbeatable. Within 5 minutes easy stroll are theatres, restaurants, bars and cafes, excellent bookstores, barbers and hairdressers, a Woolworths Metro, Chinatown and tram stops to and from Bourke Street Mall and the free city circuit. But the welcoming warmth and professionalism of the hotel and its great staff completes the picture. The decor has a slick artistic touch and the staff are personable and engaging. The nightly 'Happy Hour' with complimentary wine and beer is an inspired touch - a great way to end a busy day, start the evening or just relax and mingle with other guests. Save yourself the endless hunt for accommodation in Melbourne and just book into the Lancemore Crossley Street.

Another great stay

I just love this hotel. It is in the best location amongst all the good restaurants; bars and theatres. Everything is so easy to get to, and the rooms are so functional and stylish. I tend to always stay for short visits here. I always enjoy the breakfast and drinks on the rooftop deck. This is the first time I've made it in time for hosted drinks. What a lovely touch! Staff are so friendly; efficient and accommodating, and everything is so clean. One day I will find out about their gym partnership, but usually I just end up going for a city or garden walk for fitness anyway. So wonderful - I will be back.

We have stayed at the Lancemore previously and rated it highly. The only blemish this time was the pillows were incredibly soft, so soft that when you lay your head down you feel like you're laying on the mattress. We forgot about the pillow menu on offer which I recommend checking when you arrive. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom recently updated. We will be staying here again.
