Simple, relaxing camp
The bar is lively, with a lot of passing trade and locals - so even lone visitors have company and feel welcome. The restaurant is very good, with a wide range to meals to choose from and they would do a "mix and match" approach if you requested. Both the bar and restaurant are very reasonably priced and great value.
We had a view of the lake from our tent, surrounded by mopani trees full of birds. We were able to walk down to the lake and bird watch - notching up over 70 species. Not bad since most of the summer migrants had left.
