Lovely experience

Looked very inviting so popped in for lunch. Sat on the terrace upstairs in the sunshine. Attention from staff was excellent - prompt and friendly.
Soup of the day was lovely.
Highly recommended by a friend who stayed a little while ago.
The beer and wine were cold, as they should be.

Central hub of Bowness - a gem to discover

Such a lovely place - very relaxing and welcoming - excellent food and service although busy everyone was well attended too and it didnt feel rushed - very professional , lively bingo night on a Monday - great fun

Family winter break

Family meal there was 7 of us including a toddler and small child We had a lovely meal and very good prices and staff were very friendly also the small children were made welcome. Will definitely be going back on our next visit to Lake windermere.....

Rip of Albert

Just been to the Albert. Stunned by bar prices in a Robinson's pub. £6.70 for a pint of morreti and £8.50 for a 124ml glass of Prosecco despite the fact that their website says it's £6.00. More expensive than London. Complete rip off. Definitely one to avoid

Thrilled as always

We have visited the Albert for years and it’s tip top for food and accommodation, I’d also like to give a special BIG SHOUT OUT, for the person who would normally go without a mention, the morning cleaner was more than helpful and went out of her way to help us, thank you for your time and patience
