Lovely place to stay

We stayed here for one night on Easter Friday on our way down to Devon. Kim was so welcoming and our room was delightful - a big four poster bed and a single for our son. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - and much better than the breakfasts at the hotel we went on to stay at! Kim was really helpful in suggesting some places to visit in Devon as she used to live there as a child. A really lovely stay.

Lovely old atmospheric place

We enjoyed our stay here. Really good location for us, tucked away down a country road but near to the town. Lovely welcome from the owner and the room was massive! The house has a lot of atmosphere and character and we liked that. Don't expect really modern fittings as the place's charm comes from it's age. Bed was really comfy, refreshments in room were good and breakfast was lovely. All guests eating around one table can be a bit awkward for breakfast but we had some nice chatty people to sit with. A very good stay.

Hidden Gem!!!!

We found this by accident on a trip to Taunton. We arrived quite late in the evening but were welcomed by Kim and Peter with open arms.We were shown to a room which was beautiful. It was enormous, it had a four poster bed and a lovely en-suite. A very comfortable nights sleep was had. In the morning KIm showed us to the dining room and Peter cooked a very tasty full English breakfast. There was also cereal, toast,fruit and yogurts. What a lovely couple, Peter gave us lots of info about where to visit. We took his advice and spent the day riding on the steam train. A great day!! If we are in the area again we would definitely look this B and B up.

Perfect, could not ask for more.

I stayed at Staplegrove lodge the night before my wedding with 6 Bridesmaids and then again on my wedding night with my husband. I really can't put into words how perfect our stay was. The rooms were beautiful and very clean and they couldn't have been more helpful and lovely.
The breakfast was superb! The bed was very comfy.
The house and gardens are so pretty and made for lots of excellent photo opportunities. I live in Taunton and before I got married I did not know this place existed, from now on I will be recommending it to anyone who visits and needs a place to stay. Also to top it all off it is so reasonable. So all in all a perfect stay!

Very relaxing

My husband and I just stayed here about a week ago. I just loved it! The owner (I think her name was Kim) was lovely and very friendly :-) the rooms are massive with a super clean bathroom. If I ever go to Taunton, I'll be staying there again :-)
The breakfast was delicious and fresh :-) I suffer from insomnia , but I slept like a baby as it was so quite and calm.
