Great pub

Only popped in for drinks after a walk and found the place to be buzzing, good turnaround of people, plenty of choice at the bar and the staff seemed very very friendly, dog friendly also, place is very clean and the burgers looked tremendous

Great location, clean and comfy

Great location in the centre of Settle. We were welcomed by the manager and shown to a lovely warm, clean room, nicely decorated. Additional glazing reduced noise from the road.
Breakfast wasn’t offered, but there are plenty of local cafes very close by to choose from.
Despite the 10:00 checkout according to the website, we were told that we would be fine till 11:00am.

Great food, worth a visit

If you’re looking for somewhere with amazing food to try, I’d definitely recommend The Royal Oak in Settle.
The food was lovely and you can tell there’s a new team behind it who genuinely care about what they’re doing,well done to Mel and team. Always nice to support a place that’s heading in a great direction ️

Would not go again

The pub on a Thursday afternoon was extremely quiet with 5 people in, including my husband and I. The bar had lots of dirty empty glasses on! There were 4 staff talking at a table . The table next to where my husband and I sat was empty yet the dirty food plates from previous occupants remained and the empty glasses had not been removed. Staff need to make more effort at keeping the pub clean and welcoming!! I will not go again

Disappointing visit

Popped in to the royal Oak for a couple of drinks while in settle. Very disappointing visit luckily we didnt want food as most things on the menu weren't available and I could hear the barmaid telling people they couldn't book a meal as they didn't have much left so probably closing the kitchen early, while swigging from her bottle of DR Pepper. The toilets must have had a burst pipe so the carpet was sodden. Dirty nappy bags on the changer and the dirt below the hand dryer is disgusting. Really needs improving alot of people walked out and I'm not surprised.
