Disgusting hotel

We stayed for two nights while spending a weekend in London and, as we were only planning to use the hotel as a base for sleeping, we thought it would be perfectly adequate.
Unfortunately, this was quite simply the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
We booked a double room, but on arrival were told we had been "upgraded" to a larger room. In reality, we were placed in a basement room with three beds. It felt more like a dungeon than an upgrade. The room had a strong damp smell and very little natural light. The small window could be opened, but given the condition of the room, I really didn't want to. We immediately asked whether we could be moved back to the double room we had originally booked, but were told the hotel was fully occupied and all rooms had already been allocated.
The room was tired, dirty, and in desperate need of refurbishment. The bathroom was equally dated, and there was barely any hot water when we showered.
The only positive was that the bedding appeared clean and the sheets were fresh and white, which was reassuring. However, the bed itself was very lumpy and uncomfortable.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing stay and not somewhere I would ever return to. I genuinely feel this hotel is in a very poor state and cannot recommend it. Save your money and book elsewhere. They clearly do not care about you or your stay.

Disgusting hotel

Stayed for one night whilst on business in London . Quite simply the worst hotel I have ever stayed in . Room was small and dirty . Shower had no hot water . Bed was uncomfortable and sheets were unclean . Never again . Do not waste your money . This hotel is a disgrace .

We didn't find the bath room click and well maintained. Our towel and some of the bed linnen had puke on. We did get new from the reception. Note, They don't offer breakfast.

Over the years I have stayed in many hotels but never one as bad as this. I booked last minute and there was little choice but at £167 for 1 night I expected more than a bare dirty room with zero amenities. No kettle, no wifi, no toiletries apart from some diluted hand wash. The bedding was clean but he room itself was appaling. There was a marble fireplace which would have looked grand at one time but was now covered with ingrained dirt from years of neglect. The walls, doors and 'furniture' were in a similar state. It appeared that not a penny had been spent on maintenance or repairs for many many years. On the website the front of the hotel looked grand and appealing but in reality the outside now looks just like the inside, grimey and neglected. A place to avoid.
