Celebrating our 40th anniversary
beautiful dual aspect room so could see the beach & part of the ⁶in ⁷⁷⁶ÿPleasure Beach.
The room was beautifully decorated in neutral shades, so was very relaxing & smelt amazing!
We had a lounge area with sofa, armchair & coffee table.
A very big comfortable bed, huge tv, fridge containing Voss bottled water & milk.
The usual tea, coffee, biscuits, a good selection of herbal teas & a Nespresso coffee machine.
The thickest blackout curtains ensured we had a really good night's sleep.
We had slippers & robes featuring the hotel logo.
The bathroom was spacious, modern & bright with a separate shower & deep bath with integrated TV.
Lovely fluffy white towels & Balmain toiletries.
The whole atmosphere in hotel is very relaxing.
Reception staff are available 24 hrs daily and were so friendly, welcoming & helpful.
I have never seen so many housekeeping staff & they were all cheerful & work extremely hard to keep up the high standards expected in this hotel.
We travelled by train, then tram.
Burlington Rd West stop is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Paid for 3 nights bed & breakfast and got given a complimentary 4th night & free tickets to Pleasure Beach & VIP entrance right by the hotel.
A fantastic stay can't wait to return

Nice hotel but maybe give restaurant a miss
We pre booked breakfast for 8.45. On arrival to the restaurant despite it not being full we were left waiting 5 mins before being shown to a table. The lady then explained how the service worked and we went to get breakfast. We found that a lot of the items weren’t available and not restocked such as the orange juice, the pastries, croissants, muffins and fruit. There was also no bread for toast. Myself and another guest asked three different people before bread was brought out, and after a 20 minute wait. We then joined the long queue for cooked items, while I think it’s a good idea for these to be served by staff they really need more than one person on serving, we waited approx another 15 mins to get to the front of the queue and find that they had ran out of fried eggs, beans and mushrooms and these items would incur another ten min wait and the serving guy would need to leave serving to get these. We decided against these items as we we re already fed up of all the waiting.
Overall I think the hotel is lovely but if returning again I’d give the restaurant a miss and head down the road to weatherspoons for better service and availability of breakfast items, such a shame really as with more staff this could be perfect.
