A very good 3* + hotel

It can sometimes be better to stay a little way out of crowded 'tourist' town centres and so it was on this occasion. The Dzingel is about 20 mins bus ride from the Tallinn old city gates (No 5 stops right outside the hotel and will stop at 'Viru' for the old town) and bus tickets are very cheap both for local and country travel. Whave nohen booking with Booking.com I was provided with a free taxi transfer but other transfer options are available.
I would describe the hotel as upper 3*. The double room I had on 9th floor was quite large enough for a couple with several items of baggage. Toiletry items were basic (shampoo & soaps) and the shower pressure was good with constant hot water (I slept well (no bath).
I slept well (beds are always a subjective thing) but I would have requested a couple more pillows if I had been travelling with my wife as only two were provided, however this might have been because I had been given a double room for one guest.
Despite the location alongside a main road the traffic noise was not a worry. If in doubt, the rooms at the rear are probably a better option for light sleepers.
WiFi speeds were very good (using a VPN, Ookla still registered 23mbps up- and download). TV provided a host of channels ,local, French, German, UK etc although one or two suffered from poor image quality.
Breakfast was very good indeed and included in the room rates. A variety of cooked dished, cold cuts and cheeses, bread, cereal milk and yoghurt as well as a surprising selection of teas. You need not start the day hungry!
I was not surprised to see that the hotel was popular with contract workers and tourist buses because of the proximity to the interstate expressway a few Kms away but most of these guests opted for an early start.
The restaurant also serves evening meals but I did not dine at the hotel.
There is a pleasant garden but there the road noise is more noticeable.
Based on my stay I am happy to recommend Hotel Dzingel.

Teriible and horrible staffs!! Receptionists are wrose!!!

Staffs are Very very rude!! No manners!! They never greet and never apologies!! Very cold people. Hotel rooms are not pleasant at all. No Kettles.. No microwaves. Whenever we asked any questions they intentionally says' No'. When we asked for microwave or any water they straight away said No. Very disrespectful people. Men Receptionist very rude, he doesn't know how to respect women at all. I personally want to report about this evening male receptionist guy.
I think the hotel owner should provide them good training with well manner. As bcoz, everyone's comes from different different part of the world, every visitors or tourist people want a good treat during their stay!! So, hotel owner should provide them good trianning or change them and hire new staffs. It will be good reputation for the hotel internationally.
We are not happy about this hotel at all and we will not recommend to anyone to book this hotel.

Poor service there

Rude staff and poor service at the reception. The room was poorly equipped; there was no fridge or air conditioning. The beds smelled bad.
Breakfast was only thing what was ok there

We arrived late and left quite early. 24 hour reception was advantage and the breakfast was better than expected

Dinner option was expensive and really not worth it.
For dessert they served Éclairs that have been frozen and thawed at least 5 times.
