WONDERFUL LOCATION, WONDERFUL STAFF

We were dropped off in a square not very far from the hotel as the street it is on is for pedestrian traffic only. Right beside the gelato stand was a wooden door with "Central Hotel" on it. You had to go up a flight of stairs to get to the reception area. Yana (probably not spelled correctly) was wonderful. She spoke in Ukrainian and English and was very pleasant and helpful. The old wooden stairs up to our suite were old, crooked and totally in character of this great hotel. Never change those stairs! The room was clean, upgraded, and quite large. It had a double bed, a single bed, 3 night tables, a desk and was equipped with complimentary water, tea, and coffee. It was nice to see a small fridge and a safe for our use. The location was excellent. It is in the center of Lviv and we walked everywhere. We were in Lviv at the same time as the International Ukrainian Dance & Culture Festival so were were able to take in the dancing at Rynok Square and at the Lviv Opera House. There are also many restaurants, churches, the large market and other attractions nearby. On the last day we had breakfast in the coffee shop attached to the hotel and it was also very good. We even got to squeeze our own orange juice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Lviv!!

Nice

Stayed here at the beginning of March, 2020.
A little hotel in the heart of Old Lviv. Pretty room, nice staff. Good view from the window. The only disappointing thing was bad sound insulation. So, we heard everything that happened in another room.

Great location

I visited the hotel for 2 nights. It is really excellent located inside the old part of the city. The taxi cannot stop in front of the hotel as it is located in a car free zone. The staff is very helpful. Unfortunately no elevator but in order to preserve the original character of the building I understand why no elevator. The room wa spacious and good/clean. The bed was quite basic but for the price / quality ratio I will not complain! The breakfast I cannot comment on as I decided to have breakfast outside as it is based in the core of the old city (plenty of options).

Great Location, Great Value

The Central Hotel is right in the heart of Lviv's fantastic Old Town. It could get just a little noisy at night but there was very good quality double glazing which blocked it out. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with an excellent, large, bed. There was plenty storage space, complimentary tea/coffee/bottled water, a safe and a fridge. The wifi was strong and there was a very good bathroom and shower. The TV did not have any English speaking channels but we hadn't come to Lviv to watch TV
Pretty well all of Lviv's many attractions were within walking distance and there were loads of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. At a cost of £51 per night the Central was excellent value
We should give special thanks to Yana who, in addition to speaking excellent English, was very welcoming, friendly and helpful in giving us information about this lovely city

Have a blast in the Oblast

Wonderful location and incredibly friendly lady on Reception Desk
Central Hotel is as central as you could get! Ideal location and the Hotel is modern clean and yet still quirky!
A real boutique gem.
Breakfasts were not great for the English palate but everything in Ukraine is so cheap that was a minor issue.
Definitely recommend this Hotel and a final big thank you to the smiling Reception Lady for speaking great English!!
