Really very good

I found the staff is very helpful to the customers. For someone like me who is new to hoima city, this hotel is best as the staff, the manager helps continuously till your problem solved. Food and services also very good.

Questionable hygiene

Glory Summit Hotel is a centrally located in the heart of Hoima, and the only place with a lift in the building in this area with wheelchair access. However, their power source is quite unreliable so you could get stuck in a lift before the generator kicks in when there's a power outage.
During my stay, my pillows werent dressed in pillowcases so I had to demand some be put on but only 2 where provided for the 4 pillows on the bed. (My OCD was screaming...imagining someone's drool all-over the pillow )
Then with the view from my room, I could see the laundry, cooking and waste disposal being handled in the same space. This was rather discomforting to see and I second guessed everything I touched and ate from there on.

Good business hotel in Hoima

I stayed here a couple of times while transiting between Pakwach and Fort Portal on work projects. Rooms are large and sparse, but clean. The elevator did not work either time I was there (three nights total). The hotel can bill by credit card, the only place outside of Entebbe/Kampala that I have yet found that is willing to do so. There is also an espresso machine onsite, but it was not working. Dinner orders are slow, but satisfying. The hotel is in a relatively quiet location, which is always a large bonus from my perspective. Rooms have AC.

Thanks for the positive responses and where things didn't work out, I can guarantee you will find us much changed.
The lift is now working. The espresso machine is working and we are planning new and better things

Slow service, nice people

Once again its not easy to review a hotel in a place like Uganda. It certainly wasn't a bad hotel but they just didn't get the basics right. 45-50 minute wait for some of the most basic of foods from the menu. Not just once, every time. Even a cup of tea would take at least ten minutes to arrive.
I asked for some ironing to be done but they washed the shirts and needed to dry them then iron them meaning I was late for a meeting.
The staff are nice people but need a lot of training. The room 207 was on a corner one side facing the bar area which meant it was noisy and there were holes and bumps in the walls.
Hanging space for clothes but not drawer space at all which meant having to get a suitcase out every day
The hotel is tiled everywhere so noise just echoes throughout and because it was raining could be slippery at times although the staff kept the place clean.
Just to say, the staff were nice it's the speed at which things got done which was a let down.
It should be pointed out that the rooms are in a square and each door opens onto a corridor with a huge opening in the centre so you can view the reception in the centre on the ground floor. There's a solid bar railing all the way around so it's quite safe. I'm told it's one of the more expensive hotels around and for that I'd expect the service to be a little more prompt.

I'm sorry if we took all that to serve you food. I can confirm we changed management and fast foods take not more than 12 minutes to serve.

its owesame

the rooms are clean and good customer care.less noise since its out of town and cool enviroment.they too play cool music which enables one to have a better rest.its easy to locate since its just adjuscent to the main road
