HORRIBLE HOST DO NOT STAY
Horrrible! Horrible! Horrible! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! the other view should be bad enough with the assault !!!!
But they are straight up rude!!!
I asked in advance to change my day, the didn’t respond and then on the day of check in acted so wrongly!

Physical Assaulted, Sexist, Racist
I booked this property for the night of July 31 to August 1, 2026. I arrived at around 10:30 p.m. to check in. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes, the host, Kubiley, arrived and greeted me.
Before I completed my check-in, I observed Kubiley having an impatient conversation with another female guest about her check-in. I will not disclose her personal information here.
Kubiley then told me, without having informed me in advance, that the building I had originally booked was full and that I would need to stay at another location. He told me it would be approximately a three-minute drive away. As it was already late and I was tired, I reluctantly agreed to go with him.
When we arrived at the second property, I was very uncomfortable with the accommodation conditions and asked whether there was a private room available if I paid an additional amount. Kubiley responded impatiently that if one had been available, he would already have told me, and that there was no room because he had not offered me one.
I then asked whether he could possibly give me a ride back to the original location the following day. He became increasingly hostile and said:
“You are just a guest. If you like it, stay. If you don’t, cancel and leave. F guest!”
I asked him not to swear at me. He then said:
“You stu**d Chinese girl!”
I found this deeply insulting and felt that the comment targeted both my nationality and gender.
The argument then escalated. According to my recollection, Kubiley moved toward me in a threatening manner and I believed he was about to attack me. I attempted to defend myself, and a physical struggle followed. I repeatedly told him to let go of me and not to touch me. After hearing the shouting, another person came over and intervened. I then noticed that I had sustained scratches/injuries during the struggle.
I immediately called the Turkish emergency number, 112. Police arrived approximately 15 minutes later. I was taken to a local hospital, where my injuries were examined and treated, and I was subsequently taken to the police station to give a statement.
Kubiley and another person connected with the property were also at the police station to provide statements. My statement process continued until approximately 2:00 a.m.
According to the information I received regarding the case, I have requested that the matter be pursued, while the other side did not request that I be prosecuted. I was informed that the case has been submitted to the relevant judicial authorities and that the final decision regarding any further action or penalties will be communicated to me.
I have retained relevant evidence, including photographs of my injuries, police documentation, medical documentation, and communications with the booking platform.
I am sharing this review to document my personal experience and to warn other travellers. The legal process is ongoing, and I will respect the final decision of the Turkish authorities.
I strongly recommend that travellers exercise caution and consider the circumstances carefully before booking this property.

Not a real hostel with a deeply unpleasant atmosphere
We had to book this accommodation as there were limited options remaining. But we were left dissatisfied and eager to leave from the moment we arrived.
Upon checking in we were shown the accommodation by the host who was rather friendly. However, there was a deeply rude and unfriendly older Russian man working there acting as his “manager”. He didn’t once introduce himself or acknowledge us and continued to treat us in this way for the duration of our stay. Be warned he uses the dorm room as his personal office, setting up a table, computer and accessories from 10am - 11pm. When it came to taking payment, instead of asking us directly, he asked another female member of staff who was volunteering to ask on his behalf, even though he had seen us numerous times that day. We thought this was an incredibly cowardly and unprofessional way to deal with guests. He created an unpleasant, unfriendly and unwelcoming atmosphere for the entirety of our stay.
Also be warned that this property is NOT secure. Both front doors are left wide open throughout the entire night and there are no locks on the dorm room doors. If you are planning on visiting in the hotter months also be aware that only one room has air conditioning and the rest of the property is unbearably hot 24/7.
Although this place is advertised as a hostel on all the common booking platforms, it is simply someone’s converted apartment. Bunk beds are crammed into bedrooms and the entire property sleeps approximately 12 people. However, there is only one properly functioning bathroom/shower that is dirty, one small ill equipped kitchen and a dining area that seats no more than 4 people.
Even at €15 per night for a 7 bed dorm, this place is overpriced. Don’t waste your money staying here, stay at a real hostel with staff that know how to run one.

After posting this review, my partner received a rude email from the Russian man mentioned in the above review at 2 am. He stated in his email that he was not an active employee of the hostel, instead a resident.
So please be extra cautious, if you have an unpleasant stay and leave a bad review. The owner (Kubilay) is happy to share your personal details with other guests so they can send you unsolicited emails.
