Excellent

This is ideally located and has friendly staff. There is a sunny 2 tier courtyard which is ideal for relaxing and escaping the bustle of the bazaar.
Perfect for experienced travellers, backpackers and adventures. Those seeking tourist style comforts might trot on.

Hotel that leaves to desired

Not clean, unhygienic housing, bad condition and it stank. We were stuck in the room for more than half an hour, we had to shout to say we were stuck, no one brief hotel to flee and wifi does not work in the rooms. We did not stay, it was impossible we had to book another hotel at the last minute brief and no commercial gesture, no refund when we did not spend a single night there.

Horrible & miserable place.

That's the worst place I visit in Djerba I really made a mistake that I book in this place cause I trust what they wrote about in booking.com and I trust the pictures then I'm really sad & disappointed. They are putting nice pictures & described the hotel in a good manner but the truth is totally different. They inform me that there is no toilet in the room & instead there is a public toilet for all the residents female & another one for male then there is no AC the room looks like steam room too hot & humid you must keep the window open to have some air in the room. The girl working there is so rude & none stop saying bad words. While next door last year I was in Erriadh hotel & the service & the hotel was much more better. Just an advice to everyone never trust pictures posted on websites it's all fake once. Never recommend this horrible hotel to anyone.

Quirky charmer

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay so a reasonable price and a good night's sleep were the main considerations - both of which were achieved!
The courtyard of the hotel, all blue tiles and bougainvillea, could be part of a much more expensive boutique hotel. The staff were very charming and patient with my terrible French. The room was spotlessly clean (decor dated, but who cares) and the shower an unexpected treat with immediate hot water (having travelled throughout Africa I have learnt to not take a good shower for granted). The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets as southern Tunisia at night is surprisingly cold! The location is very central and a short walk to souks, restaurants and the marina. The hotel cats were the icing on the cake - a relaxing and quiet, although brief, stay.

Espantoso

Espantoso. No es un hostal sino una pensión. En el patio hay mantas colgadas para tapar las puertas de las habitaciones donde vive gente. Todo está viejo, sucio y cutre, incluido el patio interior y la propia recepción. En su despacho el dueño tiene zapatos y platos sucios y todo da una sensación horrible nada más llegar.
El baño compartido es impracticable y la cortina de la ducha de la habitación quita todas las ganas de lavarse en ella. Las mantas estaban sucias y la habitación oscura y lúgubre.
Habíamos reservado dos noches pero solo pasamos una. Por supuesto el dueño no quiso devolvernos el importe de la segunda.
Al lado hay otros hoteles que sí merecen la pena y están mejor ubicados aún.
