Good place to stay and eat when in Sumava.

I like this hotel a lot and have stayed here two times. Great location in the Sumava National forest area. Wonderful breakfast with the room. Not a lot of outdoor seating and some outdoor areas have no service available. Good food here. Pilsner Urquel beer on draft. Definitely recommend. Will stay here again

Lovely place, restaurant could be more quiet and offer vegetarian dishes

Lovely hotel, good service, friendly personnel.
More vegetarian options in the restaurant would be good and less loud music during dinners..

Food poisoning, I do not recommend

When the waiter brought dinner to our table, he burped a lot. The truck driver wouldn't have been ashamed of it either. Cold meat with sauce, but it was warm, I didn't mind it too much, the fries were okay. The beer was pretty decent.
For breakfast I had toast and mozzarella with vegetables and juice. In the afternoon, when I hadn't eaten anything else since breakfast, they said we would have dinner again, so according to the symptoms, it was food poisoning... brutal stomach cramps, vomiting, fever, watery stool
So great. End of vacation. I'll spend the second half of my vacation sitting on the toilet.
Quite soft mattresses. I was told they were new

Pleasant and quiet hotel

We were here for the third time for cross country skiing. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are quite varied, nothing major is missing. A little minus are the meals in the restaurant, could work on the menu, taste and presentation. Not bad, but we agreed that last year it was better.
