Emergency accomodation

Booked this Nice hostel due to maintenance issue in my house kitchen
Managed by beautiful girls
Competitive prices with in return good quality. The only issue is where to plug phone charger . No breakfast included as I decided to bring it from home due to exceptional situation

Only 1 out of 3 buildings was really great

Thank you, Hostel Eleven, for accepting our big group for 2 nights (57 people). We had a long conversation for several months, and it took a long time for us to discuss all the details. But we have managed to do it. As a representative of the hotel industry, I appreciate that.
On the other hand, as someone who works in this industry, I want to give constructive feedback on our stay.
We were staying in 3 buildings at your Hostel. Thank you for helping with the keys and accommodation. One of the buildings is very nice, renovated, and clean (Building Francin). Thank you for that.
The other two buildings need renovation and good care. When we entered the rooms, there were stains on the walls, and the bed curtains were also dirty. Bed in a single room J is making noise and is very uncomfortable. The first night, the guest slept on the broken bed, and the next day, the worker came to repair it, and it was slightly restored. The mattresses are old and have an ancient, unpleasant smell. The furniture is old (Attaching some pictures as well).
No one informed us that there is a sound of bells every 15 minutes outside of the hostel.
We do understand that it is not a luxury hotel, but what is essential is to be true with your guests, and if there is a reason you can't accommodate a group of 57 people, it's better to say it in advance!
Hopefully, you will find ways for improvement. Thanks for understanding.

Don't be seduced by the location

The location is great - close to the pedestrianised area, near lots of bars, cafes and shops, and very walkable from the train station. Although the hostel isn't very well sign posted - so I walked past it the first time!
But once you arrive, is when the problems start. The front door of the building is setup so that is slams shut - three floors up and the slam was really loud. And the bedroom doors are noisy too - you can't expect every hostel guest to be thoughtful. These are design flaw - and seriously big ones as they restrict your sleep.
The next design problem is the layout of the building - there's no main lounge area, so people just use the kitchen on each floor to get out of their bedrooms. So it means there is no community - like you would find in a good hostel. This is a design flaw.
And then the bathroom on my floor didn't have anywhere to put your clothes as you showered, and not enough hooks to hang up your clothes. This is a very basic flaw.
So, don't get distracted by the excellent location - go somewhere else instead.

Experience not to be repeated

Cold room. Worn-out bed linen. Very small towels and with unpleasant smell. Structure overall clean. Basic but clean bathroom. A long staircase to access the rooms. Deafening disco noise under the rooms for most of the night. The bathroom wall vibrated. Discreet shared living area. Reception decidedly unwelcoming. No attempt to be understood

Hostel 11 peddles false information to entrap Customers

Their Hotels.com web advert page advised that there was limited onsite parking. This was a prime reason for me booking there. But when I asked for confirmation that a space had been reserved for me, I was told that there was never any parking. My response email was ignored. On arrival I was advised that the Mgr had yet to update the web site... ie they are deliberately peddling FALSE information to lure bookings and then ENTRAP Customers (as there is a no refund policy. This ILLEGAL, rude, dysfunctional and zero customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE. They are THEIVES!
