Hidden Gem

I am wary when it says "resort" in Isaan, Thailand. Many resorts are just rows of dog kennels with air-con grinding away to try to keep them cool. But this place really is a resort albeit in an out of the way location..
Good staff, quiet location next to the lake, fast wi-fi, good food and wonderfully clean mid-sized pool. The rooms are like apartments with a separate bedroom and quality bathroom.. The owner speaks great English and is very helpful even cooking us breakfast herself on a Sunday when the kitchen is closed.
Only small thing i would like is a lamp in the bedroom.
5 stars from me.

Big apartment, but lack of cleanliness was an issue

This apartment on the small lake has great potential. Rooms are very large and there is a kitchen with fridge. In addition, there is a nice, shared balcony. The problem: the apartment was not clean. The balcony had bird and lizard droppings all over. It looks like there is little effort put into keeping this property in good shape.

Bike ride around Thailand

With a couple of friends riding our bikes around Thailand we stayed here for two nights. A great hotel with great facilities and staff . Nice pool. Shady spot to enjoy a cool drink. Large comfortable room. Spotless. Great breakfast. Didn’t go to the restaurant but I’m sure it would be the same high standard. Most importantly ... What a delightful host. Ning was Incredibly friendly and helpful.

A peaceful elegant location

Having stayed almost a year at this location for business purposes, I can sincerely say I know this resort very well and it has become my second home!
Close to Ubon city it offers tranquility in a rural setting.
Within very close proximity to Tesco and Big C this is an ideal compromise for anyone wanting to discover the local region but who would prefer to be out of the city!
The residence provides elegant accommodation and a strategic location approximately one hour from Laos.
This small town offers several markets selling fresh produce and there is transportation to and from Ubon until the evening.
Cycling around this area is easy and allows to discover the beauty of the countryside.
The lake is always peaceful with hardly any noise, offering very quiet surroundings and a magnificent view.
There is a park in the center of the lake and some restaurants overlooking the venue.
There is also a small zoo in the town which is cheap and worth the visit.
The apartments all have air con, fan, TV and internet facilities. The balconies provide a private place to admire the environment and there are ample tables and chairs for all guests.
There is no cooking allowed but there are sufficient restaurants to dine out or take away food. There is a fridge and adequate storage space for clothes or luggage.
The rooms are regularly serviced and the landlady is very pleasant and she is very helpful with arrangements, speaking fluent English!
I can recommend without any hesitation that your stay here will be very comfortable and pleasant.

ริมหนอง ห้องใหญ่ ปลอดภัย แต่ ...

สุพรเลควิวเป็นโรงแรมตึก 2 ชั้น ริมหนองขุหลุ อำเภอตระการพืชผล ด้านหน้าเป็นร้านอาหารที่มีเมนูอร่อยทั้งส้มตำถาด เนื้อโคขุน แต่ขาดขนม ส่วนห้องพัก ถึงแม้สภาพเริ่มเก่า แต่สะอาดสะอ้าน และกว้างขวางมาก แยกส่วนระหว่างห้องรับแขก (มีโซฟา ทีวี ตู้เย็นกับน้ำขวดใหญ่ฟรี แต่ไม่มีแอร์) กับห้องนอน (มีแอร์และทีวีอีกเครื่อง) ชัดเจน ถือว่าคุ้มค่าคุ้มราคา 600 บาทมากๆ (เพิ่มอีก 100 ได้ห้องเบอร์ 3 เห็นวิวหนองเต็มๆ) จุดอ่อนจริงๆ อยู่ที่ห้องน้ำ เพราะมีกลิ่นอับ (อาจเพราะแม่บ้านและแขกหาที่เปิดเครื่องระบายอากาศไม่เจอ) และไม่มียาสระผมให้ โดยรวมถือว่าน่าประทับใจ เป็นตัวเลือกที่ตัวที่สุดของอำเภอ สามารถเดินชมวิวทิวทัศน์ไปยังหอไตรหนองขุหลุก็ได้
