Nice pool area, ageing bungalows - kind of impersonal.
Pool area with bar still in shot, though not too crowded. No party atmosphere. Pool open until 22:00, dinner can only be ordered until 20:00, which is a pity. The food was good, though. Little Chang 120 Baht.
Bungalows are getting old. Beds are hard, have immediately received a second pad on request. Kind of all a little impersonal.
For swimming also in the sea nice, on the nearby ‘reef’ at the diving school it has amazingly many fish at 1 - 3 meters depth.

A few days in paradise
Absolutely beautiful resort! Out room was a short stroll away from the bar and restaurant but this meant it was lovely and quiet and the stroll through the trees to bed was beautiful in the evening. The rooms were clean and bathroom was beautiful, like showering in a rainforest. The bar and restaurant looks out over the beautiful sea, such a relaxed atmosphere, I wanted to stay forever! Staff were friendly, food and drinks were excellent value. Would love to return again in the future. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Located by a private bay, the water is crystal-clear, the sand is calm, the water is crystal-clear with fish, it''s a great escape from the bustle of the big city, the resort is surrounded by trees and nature''s greenery, and the service is welcoming.
️ Koh Kood Resort Room
Coming apart in the Bungalow style, adding privacy, clean, clean, clear, with both sea and natural zones, well-equipped, and with the area of the lodge is peaceful and a very high level of privacy allowing us to live with the taste of it.
✨ A must-see highlight.
• The Deck: Seaside cafes and restaurants, million-dollar views! Have a romantic sunset drink.
• Wooden bridges in front of the Resort: hit check-in spots to take a stroll in the breeze or jump the water in front of the Resort.
• Activities: there’s a kayak and paddle board available, so go for some coral-watching.
Who’s looking for a place to unwind, Hell’s Island is a must-visit.
Because Goud is a very nice island, really.

We had booked 4 nights in advance - and did regret it after the first night.
Rooms are very old, we don’t mind that, but they are built without any isolation whatsoever, so you can hear EVERYTHING outside. And being located in a dense jungle, there is soooo much noise during the night. Even with earplugs, it was very difficult to get any sleep. Furthermore the doors were not able to close properly, and there are big gaps, so the room was visited by a lot of lizards and mosquitos. After 3 nights we have up and moved to another hotel, to get a decent nights sleep.
The hotels main attraction is the Deck Bar, which is very nice. Good food, great drinks and very good staff.
Unfortunately they let everybody walk in, so even if your a hotel guest, you are not guaranteed a lounger or sunbed. Or any privacy at all.
And this is, in my opinion, the hotels biggest problem.
The bar is apparently a instagram hotspot, and swarming with Asian tourists, taking thousands and thousands of pictures all day long.
It’s impossible to enjoy the view as there is always several “photoshoots” going on.
During dinner we had to ask our neighbors to stop taking pictures, as flashes are going off constantly. All the visitors have absolutely no respect for the people staying at the hotel, but only focused on taking as many pics as possible.
This was the biggest disadvantage for us

The bar is worth a visit for a drink, but I would not recommend staying at the hotel.
We will not be coming back.

If you want a peaceful holiday, please choose other hotel.
Noise level: very loud music from dj spinning. Why would they ruin the peaceful atmosphere by that? The expensive beachfront villa turned out to be a front row concert. Please improve and control the sound. Not everyone enjoy this upbeat music. And the swimming pool...why would you open until 10:00 at night? The beachfront room feels like water park. Any concern about safety at night?
