Great resort in wonderful location

Fantastic resort. Great bungalows on the beach, great service from the employees and decent breakfast. Very close to the main area of Kai Bae including restaurants, 7 11 and ATMs. But enough away be on a quiet beach resort. No noisy bars close bar to disturb sleep. Would recommend and would consider returning if I returned to Koh Chang.

Lovely peaceful place to stay

We stayed 6 nights in family room next the beach. Nice room with beautiful view. Very friendly staff in hotel and beach cafe. Breakfast is ok. Elephants come to the beach daily.

Second time in this hotel.

Relaxed in this hotel in 23, and now in 26. I'll compare. Both stopped at a bungalow on line two. The first one's too lively.
The hotel was renovated. The bungalow was renovated. A running heater now hangs on the shower, stable temperature water. But the water from the washbasin is not heated at all. Mattresses have become uncomfortable. It was nicer when I was 23. Bad luck with the sea this time, low tide in the morning, low tide after sunset. Went swimming 100 meters to the left. Breakfasts were as good as ever. Two days of agony with air conditioning. Came in two rounds for repairs. The TV burned down after a week, and the smell started to go. The maid came - at which point he earned - left. He didn't turn on again tonight. Whatever.
Other than that, it seems the same. But Ty is more expensive... and less smiling. Anyway, this is the first hotel I've ever returned to a second time.

Disappointing

I'll start with the positives as that will be quickly written. We had a beach front bungalow which was spacious and had a nice view.
The beach is compacted sand and therefore uncomfortable to sit on. There aren't any sunbeds on the beach. The water isn't very clear. There is a lot of seaweed, leaves etc in the water.
The breakfast was just ok. Cordial for juice which is poor.
There isn't a beach bar but a cafe which is separated from the beach by a road. The food is terrible. We tried 3 times to eat there and then gave up.
There are signs everywhere forbidding everything. It felt a bit like a prison camp. I've been to many places in Thailand and this is the last place I would return

Faultless and great location with a beautiful beach

We only stayed here for one night and it's absolutely beautiful. Really enjoyed it. The staff are lovely, the area is lovely and the breakfast was great with both western and Thai options. Book it you won't regret it
