Great spot in Trat

Stayed here on the way to Cambodia. Clean and spacious room, comfy bed, great place to sleep and rest. Friendly staff, any problem will be solved in a moment. ​Amazing location in the old town. Really nice place to explore the streets by walking.

Reasonable hotel in the city centre

This hotel is right in the middle of Trat, which is the starting point for many people to the island of Koh Chang. Trat itself is not a typical tourist town.
The hotel is quite new and the room is big enough. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The bathroom is solid, the shower not so great.
Unfortunately there was a market opposite, where loud music could be heard from a kind of bar for quite a long time. Overall, the rooms are not very well insulated.
The breakfast was OK. There was a standard selection of toast, egg dishes, salad, fruit and various hot dishes.
I needed a taxi to the stadium, which was well organized for me. What I didn't like, however, was that the taxi's pickup didn't have seat belts. You should watch out for things like that here.

Best option for an overnight in Trat

We usualy stayed at Chivapuri Residence Trat when we come in the area but we just discovered this hotel far better and cheaper with a nice pool to chill out at the end of the day! Friendly and helpful staff, free parking on site. Room is large and clean as well as the bathroom

Lovely hotel with close proximity to Bangkok Hospital if needed

Lovely clean hotel with lovely staff, swimming pool, and close to Bangkok Hospital which was important for me. Bed was very comfortable, shower was spacious and has great water pressure. Rooms also have a balcony overlooking the pool. Location was also great, there is large lotus supermarket opposite the road with restaurants and some small market stalls. Luckily due to the month we stayed there, there was a wonderful market opposite the hotel with lots of food options, a fair for kids, and stalls selling clothes etc.

Wonderful & Comfortable Stay

My partner and I have had a very comfortable stay at this pleasant hotel. The beds are wonderful & it is exceptionally clean. The staff are also very friendly & happy to help out in any way they can. I initially stayed here by myself for a few nights because my partner was unfortunately in hospital and I am so glad I stayed here. I was given a room on the third floor facing the pool which was more than adequate for me & the welcome I received from the reception was warm and I felt comfortable here right away. When my partner was eventually discharged I knew I wanted to bring him to this hotel and we ended up staying here for approximately 2 weeks in total. This time our room was on the 5th (top floor) which was even more lovely and has catered to all of our needs. The staff were even kind enough to supply my partner with additional pillows for his comfort. We had a lovely view of the pool from our balcony and the sunset each evening. The breakfast was also varied and delicious. We would always like forward to going down to breakfast each morning! We are very happy with our stay overall & would highly recommend JP Grand. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality :)
