Lovely quiet stay with friendly owners

Stayed for two nights after a flight from UK and a 2 hour taxi journey, lovely quiet stay, very clean, friendly owners offered a lift into town in the evening and took us to the boat for Koh Samet the following day, very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again. Ban Phe is a delightful fishing village if you are looking for a quiet couple of days.

Spartan rooms but a nice pool area

Rooms were more spartan than simple, bright lights in the ceilings, missing bedside lamps. Hard beds that had plastic covers on so sheets went here and there. Hard site built seating benches patio, Neighborhood and owners amazing even pool. A little jungle feeling with all the vegetation.

Best part of our trip to Koh Samet

We stayed here on our way to Koh Samet. Our bus arrived from Bangkok after sunset and we didn’t feel like making the crossing in a speed boat ferry at night.
Luckily, we came across Huay Soontaree, and everything about it exceeded our expectations. The room, the pool, the breakfast, and the staff were all exceptional. Especially the staff, such warm and welcoming people!
The manager recommended an excellent restaurant down by the pier, which was also memorable.
Huan Soontaree was so relaxing and we wish we would have just stayed there instead of going on to Koh Samet. We stayed at one of the highest rated hotels on KS, and it was mediocre compared to Huan Soontaree.

Fah and family never cease to amaze us. What excellent service!!

A comfortable break between Christmas and New Year's and our first return in close to 2 years. Rooms are very comfortable with some new touches, internet very good, and some satellite TV for the wife. I always use the resort as a cycling home base and always a pleasure rising into Klaeng along the coast. A new cleaning team do an outstanding job and Fah never fails with her assistance. What a wonderful place. We could live there and even extended our recent stay another couple of nights. Thank you!

Very good place

We were one night there. The resort was very wonderful and cozy. Pool was also good. Sun bed could have been more.
And the staff was the best. I have never met people like they were. They were really kind and for example carried us for free.
I will definitely come back!
