A nice Hilton in Pattaya.
We spent 4 nights in this very central hotel.
We checked in at the 16th-floor lobby at approximately 15:30.
We booked a regular room and, as Diamond members, were upgraded to a Family Suite on the 32nd floor - room 3205.
The suite was large, although strangely shaped.
It featured a living room with a giant TV, table, desk and chair, an armchair, a chaise longue, a chair, a minibar, and a tiny balcony with views of the beach and 2 small chairs.
The bedroom was on the smaller side (and very poorly designed). It featured a similar balcony, a TV, and a king-size bed.
An open-space closet led to the bathroom, which was large.
It featured a bathtub, a toilet with a hose, 2 sinks, and a shower with decent water pressure.
There was a sliding door that either closes off the toilet or the shower, but not both.
This made the shower leak and flood the entire bathroom each and every time we used it.
The designer of this impractical door should never design anything again. Ever!
The bathroom amenities were the ordinary dispensers from Crabtree & Evelyn.
The room was anything but lightproof and suffered from uneven air-conditioning temperatures in each room.
Despite the room being on the 32nd floor, you could clearly hear the loud party noise from the numerous clubs on the beach, so if you're a light sleeper, this hotel would be too noisy for you.
I have no idea why this suite is called a "Family Suite", as it is certainly NOT designed to accommodate a family with only one bathroom (plus the idiocy of the sliding shower/toilet door).
The hotel offers an infinity pool on the lobby level.
While the pool is nice, there aren't enough loungers around it, and it is not properly maintained (you can see all the rust from the sea surrounding the pool).
Central Pattaya mall is attached to the hotel, which is highly convenient, as it features countless shops and eateries. I've written a separate review about it.
Breakfast is usually served at the Edge restaurant, but as it was being renovated during our stay (the hotel only informed us about it 2 days prior to our arrival), it was served in 2 huge conference rooms on the 17th floor. Surprisingly, it was very good. I've written a separate review about it.
The Executive Lounge is located on the 33rd floor and offers a fantastic view of the sea and beach.
It is divided into two parts: an air-conditioned one and an outdoor one.
Unfortunately, due to the automatic door to the outdoor area, the A/C cannot handle the hot and humid Pattaya weather, and the lounge is mostly too warm for comfort.
It is open from the morning until 21:00 and offers hot and cold drinks and some nibbles throughout the day.
Afternoon tea service from 14:00 to 16:00 offers some sandwiches and cakes.
The dinner spread is nice, with 2 hot dishes, salads, cold cuts, cheese, and some alcohol.
Bottom line - this is a solid Hilton and if you can ignore some design issues and the considerable party noise even in the top floors, you'll enjoy it.

Hilton Pattaya very pleasant, comfortable and personal approach. Close to shops restaurants and beach.
Hilton Pattaya is my favorite hotel, very comfortable, luxury, nice people and therefore very enjoyable for us. The management and the whole hotel team has a pleasant and personal approach to the customers.
At our latest stay we can specifically mention our room attendant khun Nut and the room service team which has performed a fantastic job and superb service. The Hilton Pattaya is located comfortably close to the beach, restaurants, shops and bars.

Run-down rooms and shockingly unfriendly staff
After staying at Hilton Pattaya several times, I can no longer recommend this hotel. The rooms are in a terrible, run-down condition and nowhere near the standard expected from a Hilton—especially at these prices. The overall room quality is simply unacceptable.
Even worse was the attitude of the staff, who were unfriendly, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping. Returning guests clearly mean nothing to this hotel.
This was my last experience with Hilton Pattaya. I will never stay here again and strongly advise others to choose a different hotel.
