Absolutely perfect. New and beautiful.
We stayed here for one night on our drive from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai as we wanted to see the hotsprings and this is the closest accommodation to the hotsprings. My only regret is not planning a longer time as it is the perfect in between spot for both Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. I would have stayed here my whole trip and just planned day trips to both places and all the sights in between. The location is very convenient - right off the highway so no trekking far off course but far enough down that you really feel like you are tucked away somewhere magical.
The place is brand new. It's a huge complex on beautiful manicured grounds facing the mountains with a stream going through and there are multiple individual villas throughout the complex and then one main complex that has registration and a restaurant. They will drive you and your luggage on a golf cart from registration to your villa or just take your luggage and you can walk the pretry grounds. It is all new new new and so spotless we were just thrilled. The villas have high ceilings and brand new modern furniture with lots of little nice touches. The bathroom was spotless with a rainmaker shower and a beautiful wooden counter and funky modern sink bowl. The furniture was so nice with a nice couch in the room. It was airtight so not one bug anywhere in sight (which is hard to find in those areas) and there are mesh screens on the windows and an airtight balcony screen door so you can actually sleep with the windows and doors open if you want the nice breeze and nature sounds (and there is also really good AC if you prefer everyrhing closed). We had just come from 4 nights in phuket and 2 in Bangkok and this was the nicest place out of any of the places we had stayed in. Especially for the price! What a deal for what you get. And the rate included breakfast which they cook you fresh. The options were eggs, sausages etc but when i told them I was vegan they cooked me up a beautiful veggie fried rice with a side of fresh fruit for breakfast. And this is the best part.. they grow organic fruits and vegetables on the complex so everything they used in the breakfast came from right there! And the coffee was one of the best I have had in Thailand. Plus they brought us carrafes of mountain spring water to our room and they were so attentive and really great. I really didn't want to leave but I did want to get out to make the most of my day however tearing myself away from sitting on our villa's balcony was so difficult!! I have attached a pic of my view and a pic of the outside of the villa. The pics of the place don't do it justice. The newness was a real surprise and delight. Amazing stay for sure.

Tippaya Villa resort
Tippaya Villa resort is about 50km north of Chiangmai on the road to Chiangrai, situated 700m above sea level and surrounded by hills, trees and tropical plants. Today the sky was blue, the sun shining and a light breeze, fantastic and very relaxing, just what you need if you want to escape from the normal hustle and bustle of city life!
Restaurant sits up on a hill so great view, great Thai food, fresh organic vegetables from the farm, great coffee and dessert if you didn’t fill up on the starters and main dishes!
Villas look great both inside and outside and if you need exercise to work off the food you can go for a walk or jog and simply soak up the natural beauty all around you! Once the main road widening is completed you will be able to cycle all the way into Chiangmai and back, if you like a challenge that is!
I look forward to my next visit and I’m sure this will be true for many others too.

Koninklijk
Wat een koninklijke ontvangst hebben we hier gekregen. Met het golfkarretje van en naar de kamer gebracht, uur van het avondeten werd zonder probleem voor ons verlaat, ontbijt werd zonder probleem vervroegd. Bungalow is keimooi, spiksplinternieuw en van alle mogelijke comfort voorzien. Het complex ligt vlak aan de doorgaande weg chiang Rai - Chiang mai, dus heel convenient. In de kamer heb je van het lawaai van het verkeer geen last (bungalow 4 is rustig gelegen). Aanrader als je op doorreis bent!
