I had a really pleasant stay at S48 Hotel Chiang Mai! The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to relax after a day out exploring although transport is reccomended as the sereness yet closeness to the city centre still need a bit to travel although close.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in was quick and smooth with staff who could not enough to help. I also appreciated the little touches that made the room feel cozy yet spacious in addition to the daily service. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

Only one useable socket in the room, on the ither side of the room away from the beds. No outdoor furniture, not ash tray. Skirting in the room was falling the pieces.

Very average

Least favourite hotel we’ve stayed at during our month long Thailand trip. It’s ok and rooms are very clean, pool is lovely and staff are really nice too. Only reason we didn’t enjoy as much as other hotels was minor things really. I like doing my hair for the evening but no mirror in room except bathroom where there is no plugs. Only one plug in whole room behind TV so we were fighting for charging phones etc. There is also no safe in rooms !! Which I thought was poor. No hand soap and freezing cold shower but we did have a technician see to this and it went slightly warm. Would we stay again? Probably not

Cozy hotel with nice pool

This is a cozy resort just outside Chain Mai city center.
There is a small free carpark for travellers who drive. Since we came with carpark we appreciated that of course.
The staff is polite and service minded. Checking in went very fast and smooth.
The rooms was pretty average, but nice and clean. The room had hot water boiler and instant coffee, I always appreciate that.
The pillows were extremly hard so the sleeping quality was not optimal. But that is pretty much the only negative about the rooms. Heard from some friends we travelled with that they also struggled a bit with hard pillows.
Breakfast was very good and had a nice variety of different food.
I would not mind coming back to the hotel, recommended !

Pros: The swimming pool and the large rooms.
Cons: Room B1: Very hard bed, and no WiFi. Got switched to A12: No TV service, even after technician came to try and fix it.
The rate was low, but the service poor.
