Ideal starting point!

Ideally located hotel with spacious rooms with
fantastic beds, great breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

I had stayed in Hansar many times. Hansar is great because the room rates is reasonable given that the room is very big and cosy. It is also few mins walk to BTS station and just one station away from siam station. However, after so many years, the rooms probably need some upgrading. Pillows are really too thin and I really hope they can change the toilet seat too. The massage at level 8 of the hotel used to be so impressive but I was really disappointed with the skill of the masseurs this time. Am unlikely going back again.

Getting a little dated but so much potential

We have been to the Hansar before so we’re looking forward to a repeat experience. It’s ok. It feels like it needs a bit of an o vestment in the rooms as the room was tired and not particularly clean. The aircon made everyone feel rather damp in the rooms.
We went to the bar and whilst the mixologist was fantastic as we had a couple of lovely cocktails, it was empty apart from us to lacked any atmosphere.
Hansar, you were a great hotel and deserve to be great again ! Just tidy up the rooms and make them feel the same quality they were when you opened.

In general the room was clean but the basic amenities in the washroom were kind of old fashioned. The shower was too high to reach and a steady warm water flow could not maintained. Both hot and cold water taps were hard to adjust getting a comfortable warm water flow. Minibar in the room was not attacting at all, but the room was good value for money.

good, but a bit old

This hotel is where I stayed when I first traveled to Bangkok, and I'm visiting it again after almost ten years.
Since the basic room itself is a suite and is located in the middle of the city
I like this neighborhood because the atmosphere feels like an affluent area.
A distance I can walk to Siam.
Breakfast used to be a buffet, but it has changed to a system where you order with a smartphone QR code, which is trendy these days. The food was bland and focused on healthy options, so it wasn't stimulating and suited my taste well.
However, because the room is large, dust is visible in every corner, and it felt like it wasn't cleaned properly, and there are many signs of age.
It seems like there are just tons of notices like "If you damage this, it costs this much" or "If you touch this, it costs this much," as if many troublemakers have visited.
Many places have sagged a lot due to ceiling leaks. If a hotel's management is even a little lacking, those traces become very noticeable.
And because it was built a long time ago, there is no bidet.
I hope I can give you five stars next time I visit.
