Great value right on the beach

This area of Bang Saphan is not exactly buzzing, but if you're after a quiet night or two with absolutely no distractions, this is not a bad place at all. The building itself is quite an interesting design, having been renovated not too long ago. The rooms are fairly spacious (we had a quadruple and it was more than enough space for us) and comfortable. You'll definitely get a good night's sleep as there's nothing around to make any noise except perhaps the waves on the beach and some wandering chickens. The hotel offers breakfast but this is pretty limited. For the price, though, it's fine and they did offer fruit and mini banana cakes which suited me fine. I'd say this is one to consider for a stopover going north or south.

Bad Sleep

Staff at the reception is very nice, friendly and helpful. Hotel is near the beach, room is specious. However, we were assigned on the 3rd floor and hotel has no elevator, nor staff to help with luggages. TV was not working and 2 staff kept entering the room 3 times within half hour trying to fix it but couldn't. Disappointing that nobody checked that before selling the room to a customer. Finally, horrible sleep from the traffic noise at night. The hotel is located right at the junction so people slow down and then accelerate to cross it, really bad noise disturbance. If you are a light sleeper and sensitive to noise, go book a room somewhere else. We will not be back.
