Where the soul can recharge

We've only stayed one night at this beautiful place, and had it not been for time restriction, we would have gladly stayed longer. This Lodge, which has a very authentic feel to it, is wonderfully situated. Right at a river bank, and if you get up early, you can watch the new day approaching on the terrace at the waterfront. Only accompanied by the songs of birds and maybe the friendly dogs which love to share human company without being intrusive. The rooms are functional and the mattresses on the floor, which again enhances the authentic feel to the whole lodge. Slept peacefully all night through, after a lovely dinner prepared by the kitchen staff. Thai breakfast awaits the hungry traveller in the morning before heading off to explore the marvellous surrounding landscape. They've also got a small pool to have a little dip in, if needed. Overall an enchanting place, will treasure this peaceful atmosphere in morning for a long time.

Blissful Getaway for anyone looking for peace and quiet

Artit-thara is one of those getaways you need that are so close to the city and yet so secluded and natural. Lodging near a river, the nature seeps you in and are welcomed by great hospitality. The caretakers there know you by first name. Ours was N'Nan, a very delightful little girl that took care of all our lodging and dining needs.
Me and my fiance got the best lodge of the area. With a jacuzzi, outdoor shower area and cute flooring - we thoroughly enjoyed the patio area. To my surprise, the minibar was full of crisp beer ! That was a surprise. You soak up the entire nature experience along with a relaxing dinner on the banks of the river. Loved it.
The owner is very friendly and caters to your every need. We booked the boat ride to experience the sunset however the rain made the river encroached with water plants that blocked the path. That was a shame. The common room area is where the place really sings. It's a homey area where you can lounge around with a book and drink for hours. It's incredibly comfortable. The locals dogs add to the friendly atmosphere.
We didn't want to leave but this is a great place for stressed people looking for a quick getaway for peace and quiet.

Warm welcome

We'd been here for dinning. All hosts and staffs are friendly. They provide us very warm service. Foods are delicious ,interestingly all ingredients always come from homemade nearby. Nice and lovely one I have ever tried.

hideaway by the river

A perfect getaway from Bangkok.
Rooms have most of the amenities that are normally available in hotels. There is interesting art and family treasures plotted around the main building and in the rooms.
Staff are really attentive and seem to do it all, cleaning cooking and anything else you may need. The team really tried to make you feel at home, we forgot some items from home and the team offered to go and pick up some basic items form a near by store, after the first mornings breakfast the staff asked if we would like anything additional tomorrow. these little touches really make the difference. Unfortunately did not get to use the boat due to the weather.
Highly recommend.
