Wonderful first stop on our Scandinavian trip!
Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen was our first hotel on our Scandinavian trip, and wow — what a wonderful experience!
From the moment we arrived, the staff were brilliant: friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and stylishly designed, and the location is fantastic, with easy access to the metro and trains making it simple to get around Copenhagen.
And the breakfast deserves a special mention — probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had! So much choice and everything was delicious.
We also loved the free coffee available throughout the day and the relaxed, chilled-out atmosphere. The whole hotel has such a fun and welcoming vibe — exactly what you want after a day of exploring.
Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen was a fantastic start to our Scandinavian adventure. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! Highly recommended. ❤️

Good location, fun and funtional
If you’ve stayed in a Moxie before it is a similar vibe. The rooms are smallish, clean with comfortable bedding. We didn’t experience any noise issues. Everything functioned like hot water and lighting. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The lobby is a great place to hang out at night or in the AM while you catch up on your travels. The staff was also great: friendly and helpful. They had bikes and umbrellas for rent. They sell some snacks like bagged chips and I think I saw someone ordering hot food? If you’ve never stayed in one before, it might be helpful to know that the check-in is also a bar. The lobby area is set up with games etc.like checkers and I think this one had a foosball table. As far as the location, I thought it was excellent. We took an uber from the airport the first evening. The train station is a 5 minute walk . There is a ticketing machine at that station but unless you are really good at navigating those machines a 24 hour pass bought online is a convenient option. The train only goes two directions and we popped in and out of Copenhagen in about 10 minutes with no parking etc.

Nice hotel
A cosy hotel, which we booked for a concert in the Royal Arena.
Soundproofed rooms, with all bathing supplies.
You get a voucher for a free drink where you can choose between vodka or gin. We were Max disappointed, then there was neither vodka nor gin in - a round of sweet juice, so you can just as well not give vouchers. I pull a ⭐️ off
Delicious brunch with everything the heart desires.
Location is go relative to Royal Arena.

Just a great, convenient, comfortable place that concentrates on the important things!
So, I always study my accommodations before I travel overseas. Copenhagen is a wonderful, safe, & clean city. The people are the most friendly & happy I've encountered. Seemingly in exchange for this amazing place to live/work/play, things like food & hotels tend to be pricey.
THAT BEING SAID, the Moxy is a GREAT value for the money. The staff (especially Gosa) go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable, restful, & entertaining as possible. Although not large by American standards, the rooms are cozy, & the beds & linens are conducive to a great night's sleep. Don't believe any negative reviews about the size of the bathrooms; I'm a big dude & found the shower to be amazing!
TRAVELER'S HINT: On your 1st day of really nice weather, rent some of the hotel bikes. Copenhagen is the most bike-friendly city in the world, & zipping along their beautiful streets in designated lanes is a blast!!

Great Stay in a Prime Copenhagen Location
We had a wonderful stay at the Moxy Hotel Copenhagen! We were lucky enough to get a corner room, which felt bright and spacious.
The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, always happy to help with recommendations or questions. One small detail that made a big difference: the 24-hour coffee, tea, and cappuccino station. It was perfect for an early morning pick-me-up or a late-night craving, and honestly felt like a small luxury to have available around the clock.
Location-wise, this hotel is fantastic if you're planning on doing some shopping. It's an easy walk to Strøget, Copenhagen's famous pedestrian shopping street in the Indre By district, and just steps from Amagertorv, the historic square where you'll find the Louis Vuitton store. and exploring nearby shops, cafes, and historic architecture. I also enjoyed the Illume shopping center.
Overall, a comfortable, well-located hotel with thoughtful amenities and great service. Would happily stay again!
