Beautiful, relaxing stay

Very nicely furnished bungalow in a quiet location with great pool and lounge. The staff were exceptionally friendly and immediately helpful with any request – our stay could not have been more pleasant. The train station is nearby; the path is a bit steep but easily accessible on foot or by tuk-tuk. Absolutely recommend!

Accommodation not recommended

It is too expensive for the price-quality ratio. We had a very bad experience; we could not shower well any day since the shower pressure was not good, and barely a trickle of water came out. Furthermore, there was no hot water either. The cabins in the photos look like they are fine, but besides not being very clean, they are not well-equipped for being in the middle of nature. The roof is like straw and the walls are made of fabric with holes. In the room, we found all kinds of insects and reptiles, and on the last day, a huge tarantula on top of the bed. Our neighbors found a snake. We do not recommend it at all for how expensive it is.

Jungle vibe – but breakfast/coffee weak and wifi off at night

Basically, it was okay. But you have to know what you're getting into.
Arrival/reachability: The rise is practically only possible with TukTuk. The driveway was muddy with us, as rainy. This is lodge feeling rather than classic hotel arrival.
Check-in: Took a while because it was a power failure. It's gonna pull down the first impression.
Room and bathroom: Were okay. Veranda outside the door to linger.
Personnel: Top. Friendly, effortful, pleasant handling.
Breakfast: Not lush. Is brought to the table. If you think of this as a “jungle lodge” concept, it’s okay – rather thin as a hotel breakfast.
Coffee: Nothing special. Rather prütt. I've been dodging tea.
WI-FI: Okay during the day. At night it was turned off or definitely not running.
Sleep comfort: It was okay. Jungle feeling (noises / mosquitoes) included.
Location/trips: It was okay.
Value for money: Fitted.

Cozy, Clean, and Wonderful Service – Loved Our Stay!

We had a lovely stay at Gaga Bees Ella!
One thing we really appreciated was their free tuk-tuk transfer from the police station to the hotel—it only takes about two minutes, but it makes arrival so much easier and more comfortable.
Our room was small, but truly beautiful and perfectly clean. It had everything we needed, and we felt relaxed the moment we arrived.
What really made the difference, though, was the team. Every single member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful.
Their kindness and hospitality created such a positive atmosphere, and we felt well taken care of the entire time.
A great little hotel with amazing people behind it. We’re very happy we chose to stay here!

Jemnin Ella

Excellent property just a few minutes walk from the bustle of the town. But of a hill but you get used to it and well worthwhile. This is an eco resort sitting in the bush. Rustic but lovely. Fans in rooms and nets on the bed were great. Highly recommend
