Great staff, great location, great experience

I was really pleased with my stay at this hostel. I’m 53 and hosteling isn’t my usual go to, let alone in a mixed dorm but the good reviews drew me to it and I was impressed. Good value for money and fab location.

Really friendly, welcoming hostel

This is a large hostel really conveniently located for visiting Bled. Dorm rooms are shared and do have air-con which makes them pleasant and showers, toilets and kitchens are clean and spacious. There is also a common room and roof terrace which is nice. The pub downstairs is also good and serves as the 24-hour reception. There are a couple of parking spaces outside too if you have a car or motorbike but it is first-come-first-served. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Most are English out for the summer so communication is not a problem. They are always working and cleaning so you the place is impeccably clean and well maintained. It is mainly a young person's place so if, like us you are a couple of old guys on motorbikes you may feel a little out of place but everyone is super friendly and keen to swap stories. You're not guaranteed sleep and at £30 a head its not the cheapest but its Bled in summer- nowhere is and you can be sure you'd be spending nearly ten times that on a hotel room.

Best Hostel in Bled!

Bled Hostel is the absolute best place to stay in Lake Bled. The owners and staff are fantastic, and they are the kindest people that I have met on my 3-month trip. They truly care about their guests and make sure that you are having a great stay. The rooms and facilities are clean and well stocked. The bar downstairs is a fun place to hang out and meet other solo travellers. The rooms are also quiet so you are able to get a great sleep at night. The location is also perfect, less than a 5-minute walk from the bus station. I would definitely recommend Bled Hostel to anyone visiting Lake Bled.

Bled Hostel II - Ehhhh, fine.

Not the world’s greatest hostel, but with the ideal location (just 5 min from the lake & 2 min from the bus stop) it’s a good option for those trying to do Bled on a budget (but still €50/night for a bunk bed!). Kitchen and bathrooms were dated but mostly clean and A/C in rooms were insufficient. Additionally, the free washing machine made our clothes dirtier than they were before we put them in.
To end on a positive note: the staff was so kind and helpful!

Night stay in 4-bed dorm

Stayed for a night - beds were average but could get a night’s sleep, and bathrooms are shared among 8 of you’re in one of the 4-bed dorms. Kitchen at the end of the hallway that has the fixings, and a great reception with a bar to meet people! A value option in this touristy Bled area.
