Relaxing long weekend

What a great place to stay. Beautiful views. Peace and quiet. Richard the host is friendly and chatty. His wife is a great cook. Quaint and cosy I would describe it as. The village is only a short walk away with mini market and numerous restaurants. Great place to explore the high tatras from. Will definitely return.

Superb experience, highly recommend

We had a wonderful few days at Baba Yaga, I couldn’t recommend it more highly. The owners are friendly, the cottages beautiful and the food delicious (especially the garlic soup). We’ll be booking this place again!

Comfort and coziness are absolutely top (11 out of 10). Photos look like the real thing :)

Liked · Although the weather wasn´t great and it was rainy and cold, we enjoyed the accommodation very much. The interior of our apartment was exceptional. Comfort and coziness I rate 11 out of 10, especially straw bed which was available in very cozy small second bedroom upstairs. That was excellent and my sleeping experience was just great. We did not even sleep at the normal beds in main bedroom. Bathroom was spacious and again, very nicely designed. The combination of stone and timber, the smell of it, just great! Kitchen was very adequately equipped for our 3 night stay.
We did not have lunch, nor dinner at the restaurant downstairs, but breakfast was very good. Even though the accommodation has only 5 rooms I think, breakfast options were adequate for a good hotel. As my wife is having gluten-free diet, they offered her bread (on the spot!).
When we arrived, we were greeted by a welcome drink (vodka with berries), on the house! :)
Disliked · Our apartment, despite being absolutely great, it was just above the kitchen and restaurant. We heard the music playing and guests talking in whole apartment until 10pm, when the restaurant closed. It did not bother me much, as most of the day we were elsewhere, but if I would seek for silent moment after dinner, I would not have it.

Awesome Place in High Tatra’s

Now this was a wonderful find! We stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful place. You can relax here in the tasty apartments, enjoy the best food in the area en. Maybe just doze off in one of the hammocks in the shade with a local beer.
Richard, the owner, created this heavenly place just outside the hustling overpriced places that lack any authentic atmosphere that define the High Tatra’s nowadays.
Definitely worth a visit!!!

Very nice and cosy little pub / restaurant.

We had our dinner at Baba Jaga twice and were very satisfied, I can only reccommend this little restarurant. We had soup, main dish, salad and dessert too - all very tasty and nice. They offer accommodation as well but we did not use it - that is why I can not rate accomodation.
