Directly in the centre of Cadca, Hotel Lipa features a restaurant with a summer terrace and a café bar, as well as salt cave facilities, a hairdresser and a small shopping centre. Rooms come with satellite TV, and Wi-Fi is provided. All units comprise a small balcony, and are furnished with a seating area with a sofa. A private bathroom with a shower or a bathtub is also contained in each room. A buffet breakfast is available in the morning, while pizzas and international cuisine is offered throughout the day. Other on-site facilities include a 24-hour reception and free private parking. The Lipa Hotel is 300 metres to the closest fitness centre and 600 metres to an indoor pool and a sauna. Skiing is possible in the Velká Raca-Ošcadnica Ski Resort 12 km away. The Traditional Slovak Village Museum of Vychylovka is within a 30-km reach. Retro experience

Car park - sunken bath - flushing toilet - wardrobe - weak WiFi - door locks and keys - retro elevator experience / thrill - warm running water - blinds that almost work - huge room - Sovietky sofa
What more can an adventure ask for 20€ for a night!

Look somewhere else.

This place is dreadful. Ppl are saying that it is cheap I would disagree some 20€a nt a room hostels are better. Actually the name hotel should be crossed out from its classification. So the good:
Location in the town. The bathroom is acceptable.
The bad:
Dirty room with spider webs all over. The state of walls is disgusting. Linens full of stains. Many parts of the blinds were missing. At breakfast someone at the neighborin table asked for a butter and the response was you only get one. The other is extra. No jug of water or juice in the breakfast room.
Overally wouldnt recommend. Staying in a place in different town now and that is like a castle for the same price. Ill avoid in the future for sure

Cheap and cheerful

Hotel Lipa is in central Čadca 10 min walk from the main train station. This is cheap 2 star hotel with need for refurbishment but considering a single room is 13 € you can't really complain.
Friendly staff. Excellent and free Wi-Fi. Fairly clean rooms. Calm and quiet. Breakfast from 7.00.
Negatives
Staff didn't speak English or German.
I was leaving before 7.00 but I couldn’t get any breakfast to go.
If you want the cheapest price don't fall for booking it via Booking.com then you will end up paying twice the price at least. Better to just turn up. I’d doubt this hotel is ever fully booked.

Average stay

I had a room No. 106 on first floor. It was clean, but not new. You get clean towels, bar of soap and shampoo sample. Water was extremely hot. Hotel wasnt occupied so it was quiet all the time. Room has shower but shared toilet in hallway. When i booked a room online , I didnt notice that hotel is for smokers. So i couldnt sleep coz of smell. So my advice - as special requirements put non smoking. There is supermarket opens from 7 till 21.

taký štandard

a podstate spokojnosť, dá sa povedať, že niektoré kusy nábytku už pamätajú minulé storočie a bolo by treba ich vymeniť. Niektoré časti by si vyžadovali aj vymaľovať. Inak to nebolo najhoršie, možno aj lepšie ako v niektorých bratislavských hoteloch.Doporučujem.
