Situated in Mahe, close to Anse à la Mouche Beach, Maison Amantine provides accommodation with car hire, water sports facilities, a garden and barbecue facilities. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

Not my cup of tea
The shower was powerful enough. They had blackout blinds. Less than 5 minutes from the gorgeous beach.
There are no pictures of the inside and for good reason.
It is quite dark inside so might feel oppressive for those, like me, who need well lit spaces. It would have been "cute" when it was first done 20 years ago but really needs updating. Had a sense of college art project with handmade lanterns and pineapples painted over light switches.
Decor aside for a self catering place it lacked the necessary amenities. Kitchen was so small, only 1 person could fit in. Cupboard doors were wonky. Fridge wasn't cold enough. I had to ask for tablespoons. Some of the towels smelt musty. There was a washing machine but we couldn't use it; we had to wait for either 2 or 4 days for the cleaning lady to come, the owners father informed us, if we needed laundry otherwise we needed to go to a launderette in Victoria.
There were many other places to stay in the area, I'd recommend you went there if budget allowed.
You will need a car to get around as there was only one local cafe, one takeaway and one shop open at the moment. Nearest 'town' is by Anse Royal Beach which is 10 minutes drive.

Wunderbar, sehr zu empfehlen
Die Betreuung durch das italienische Vermieterehepaar war sensationell gut. Es wurde täglich gereinigt und die Betten gemacht. Sie hatten prima Tipps für Unternehmungen. Im Garten wachsen Avocados, Limetten und Kokosnüsse. Auf Nachfrage darf man sich welche nehmen. Der Strand ist 90 m entfernt, feinsandig und sehr flach. Für Kinder gut geeignet. Die Bushaltestellen für alle Richtungen sind max. 200 m entfernt. Es gibt 2 Restaurants und einen kleinen Kaufladen in max. 200 m Entfernung. Zum Flughafen ca 30 min mit dem Taxi.
Ich kann die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.
