... Value for Money ...

Very cool, small hotel in a quiet location. Especially chic is the sauna area, which you learn to appreciate after a windy and stormy day. Nice team. Short walks to the beach and two really appropriate restaurants. Was a very good basis for us as car explorers. There is no full score, the mattresses were too hard for us. Tip, always request a room upstairs. We had elephants overhead for two days there.

Quiet domicile on the outskirts

Small hotel at the southern end of Westerland, in a residential area very quiet. The rooms are located in two adjacent two-storey houses. A small breakfast room is located in the basement, here there is also a nice sauna with relaxation room.The reception is manned only until the afternoon. Wi-Fi is free and works very well. Free parking is available at the house, bicycle racks in the garden but not covered. The centre of Westerland is about 1.5 km away.
Our room on the first floor was sufficiently large, the furniture somewhat antiquated and aged. A Nespresso coffee machine, small flat screen TV and fridge were provided. Drinks could be taken from a large refrigerator in the basement. Large bathroom with stepless shower. A balcony with seating was facing the garden. However, due to the heavy soiling of the furniture, this was unfortunately not usable. This and full ashtrays on the balcony as well as used cups in the room somewhat tarnished the impression, even if this was partly quickly remedied.
At the reception we were very friendly and personally informed and advised. The nice gentleman took care of everything, including the breakfast organization and was very anxious to remedy some grievances.
The breakfast was very rich and varied, also very hygienically set up in a cold counter. Coffee came from a fully automatic machine. However, sometimes there was also a lack of essentials (bread!) if the boss did not take care of himself.
We ultimately felt quite well looked after here, even if the price would have been enough for a 4-star hotel elsewhere than on Sylt

Nice little hotel and real value for money

We stayed here for two nights in november, and we had a really nice stay. The hotel is clean and cozy and our room had a nice view to the forrest. The staff is super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The breakfast is good and the concept of ordering in avance is okay eventhough it was new to us. The location of the hotel is nice and quiet, and it is not a problem that there is a 10 minute walk to the center of the town. It only takes 5 minutes to get to the beach. The parkering is free and all in all this hotel has afordable prices compaired to the general price rate ind Sylt.

Week end in Sylt

Nice hotel in Westerland/Sylt. Family owened, cosy and near the beach. We had nice room in the second floor with balcony. This hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the Westerland city center. Nice and calm area. Parking is ok, free of charge.
Very good breakfest and nice they also offer afternoon coffee or tea free of charge. They have also Sauna, so this also free of charge
