Small hotel in family business.

With a tour group we stayed here 5 times. It is an old winegrower's house which has probably always been redesigned in time with extensions and extensions. Besides the main house there are outbuildings. Here you should tell already when booking what height you are. There are attic rooms as the movement is uncomfortable and restricted at 1.90 cm. Use of the shower chamber impossible. Booked were breakfast and dinner, 3 courses. Always a soup, a main course and dessert. Breakfast: Large common room with small self-service buffet and manageable offer. Queuing was always, was sausage, cheese etc. from was refilled. I don't think anyone starved. Unusually maybe that the landlords were there for breakfast. You thus fill yourself monitored, at least which ones it bothered. I had mentioned dinner. From my point of view, enough and tasting. In the restaurant still in the house, the food looked different, of course. Conclusion: Hotel room clean and tidy, totally suitable as a base for visiting nearby attractions, rivers and cities. Staff related to guests and friendly. I can recommend it, price/performance everyone has to assess for themselves. Was a nice experience to use the hotel room with the tour group and rattle off the sights offered by the organizer. Privately, as a couple I would not and will not book there again. There are also nicer places to stay.

An excellent dinner

We arrived by chance and had a wonderful dinner, excellent cuisine, game, deer and wild boar. The friendly service. The Riesling from a good local producer was excellent and the desserts were simply delicious. Congratulations!

Delicious lunch

What a pleasant meal! We had the Vital salad with many different kind of greens, eggs and a tasteful salad dressing. It was so delicious. Can warmly recommend it! Furthermore, the service was quick and very nice.

Brilliant find

A typical German hotel with a warm welcome from our hosts. Very comfortable beds which were great after a 12 hour drive and excellent evening meal and breakfast. Lovely walks nearby so take your hiking boots and see the Rhine and Lorelei.

Super stay

My husband and I stayed only one night on the start of a 3.5 week holiday in Austria. The host and staff were very friendly. Jochen spoken very good English and told us about the sightseeing packages he runs during the summer months. We would certainly like to come back and see more of the beautiful area and stay again at the hotel. We were the only guests staying and when we came down for breakfast, Jochen had provide a tableful of everything we could possibly want, then his wife cooked us eggs.
The rooms are not luxurious but very clean and adequate.
