Charming old fashioned boutique hotel four stories without elevator but convenient to all major attractions. Excellent well- priced breakfast. Charming owner speaks excellent. English. My room was small but beautifully decorated and very clean.

Very nice place, centrally located, highly recommended.

Very nice hotel.
A family run hotel, very nicely decorated and very clean.
The people are very friendly.
The house with the rooms is nicely decorated with lots of atmosphere. The shower is very good and very clean. The bed is very good.
Breakfast is lovingly made.

Ageing city hotel

The location to the city center is good.
The rooms would have to be renovated again (bathroom, radiator, window, door frame).
Cleanliness leaves much to be desired in some places.
Breakfast simple, but so far fine.

Bathroom door unable to close, toilet not clean, air tight and room not as shown in pictures. The bed was horrible and room outdated.

Do not book!!!!

Very unfriendly reception, a brief hello and the fact that you have to pay straight away. Credit cards not wanted are not accepted. They advertise a garden seating area and bar. (see pictures) We had reserved three parking spaces, but there were only two available, and I was accused of having cancelled one. Instead of reacting in a friendly manner and finding a solution, I had to show my email as proof, but there was no apology. Instead, they disapproved and made another parking space available to us. The new guest no longer had this, and was told: “Unfortunately, a guest did not return the parking ticket for the parking garage.” You are not allowed to use anything (garden, seating area), and from the afternoon onwards no one is there. We smoked in front of the hotel and asked for an ashtray, but nothing. Then, unfortunately, the area in front of the hotel was used. Then we emptied our pocket ashtray in the bathroom and we were very cheekily and threateningly accused of having smoked in the room and immediately threatened with a fine. Then in the kitchen we were told that we were pigs because the breakfast table was no longer so tidy. (Which is normal when you are sitting at a table with four people). That it had never happened before that hotel guests stood outside the door and smoked. Unfortunately, we were not allowed in the garden because it was wet and we would (original quote) bring the dirt in and disturb the birds. (see picture, note the comment at the table)
The ventilation and heating in the bathroom have not been cleaned for years. (see pictures) So disgusting. There is dust and cobwebs in the corners of the room. The owners are in the wrong profession - friendliness - courtesy - service absolutely non-existent. We were with 8 women and had a lot of fun in Trier despite these circumstances. This hotel should no longer be advertised like this on any portals.
