Light and Shadow

According to DEHOGA criteria, a 4-star hotel. But you don't feel that way in reality. Antiquated beds (and mattresses) with non-contemporary bedding, unsanitary high pile carpet and visual, as well as objectively simple refrigerator supply for drinks in the hallway - to name but a few examples. Bath but top. Service at the house bar very nice. Menu perceived as overpriced - for such an average country hotel. Conclusion: Light and (more) shade encourage alternative hotel deals in the area.

Dinner

Have dinner. Eat well. Service good. Ambience good. Very good location, we felt comfortable. Sitting outside, on the terrace. Schnitzel very well prepared, salad is also top. Prices is ok, stop 4 star hotel. Service was attentive.

Typical

Typical of the area a clean and tidy traditional hotel . Rooms were varied in size and configuration and lacked air conditioning.
On arrival the room had various bugs reflective of the countryside setting. That also stopped any thoughts of opening windows to cool down. My room was a huge suite with kitchen area, sitting area and bedroom. It was clean and functional.
Breakfast was again typical of the area with a simple choice of meats, cheeses, eggs and breads.
Terrace with veranda at the rear of the hotel looked a nice place to eat/drink. Located a couple of miles outside of the Town.

Wonderful hotel in a rural idyll...

We stayed at the Hotel Bartmann for a weekend with the family. It was really great. We felt very comfortable and if you like the countryside, you are in the best hands here. The boss himself takes care of the check-in and gives all the information you need as a guest. Very tastefully decorated rooms in country house style, excellent bed and a large bathroom. The breakfast buffet offers something for every taste; fresh egg dishes, salmon, selection of sausage and cheese, fresh fruit salad, juices and a good selection of rolls and bread. Nice and attentive lady who looks after the breakfast guests. We can only recommend trying the house's cuisine in the evening too. The price-performance ratio is definitely good here. Swing golf and soccer golf courses are also part of the hotel. Many thanks to the entire team at the Hotel Bartmann. We will be back!
