Time out in Saint Peter

I love the Kubatzki ❤️! The house is furnished with great attention to detail and is primarily aimed at yoginis seeking a little break. The breakfast buffet and dinner are legendary. There are two yoga rooms and a small spa area. A great place to let your soul dangle.

Rather not so recommended

Well, should have read the reviews here more closely...The rooms are clairvoyant, barrenly furnished and very small...The hallway is very narrow and reinforces the youth hostel character...The sauna has at most 8 square meters and the gym is no (a few weights and a bike)Reception/lobby is quite welcoming ....terrace too, but nothing special...a bit like the Moxy in Copenhagen. All in all, far too expensive for what is on offer! Over 200 euros per night and instead the....Mann o Mann
After all, breakfast is good and so are yoga classes. Would book a 5-card yoga next time and choose another hotel. Probably half as expensive and much nicer and the yoga classes would still have....Again, one experience richer....no disaster but disappointing

Clean and cozy, room for improvement

The hotel is modern and has a great vibe. It lacks some tact with the staff sometimes. At the table I got too close for my personal feeling and also the tone did not fit so well with a yoga hotel. Yoga is offered, but I also wish there had been a yoga mat in the room.
The rooms are modern, cozy and clean. The fact that you were not even allowed to drink water in the yoga rooms, I found unfortunately inappropriate, as we spent several hours in it as a group.
But I can still recommend it, it is a small walk to the beach, but in SPO the water is always far away.
There is plenty of free parking, which is great. The food was too spicy for me personally, hints would be great and alternatives too.

Unfriendliness personified

When I did a yoga weekend at the Hotel Kubatzki in Sankt Peter-Ording last week, €100 was stolen from me. I was in a yoga session on Saturday morning, and when I got to my room afterwards, room service was already there. However, €100 was missing from my wallet. I had just withdrawn this money to pay the yoga teacher in cash.
When I finally got through to the manager, I was treated very, very rudely: not only did she accuse me of lying, but she also dismissed me as a small child who didn't know what he was doing.
When I asked her to speak to the staff, I was reprimanded even more rudely, saying that she would decide whether and how to question the staff.
A few days later I wrote to her to give her another chance to think about it. I didn't even get an answer.
I have never been treated so rudely and badly in any hotel.
I advise EVERYONE not to leave valuables in the room at the Kubatzki or NOT TO GO THERE at all!

Really great hotel

Great staff...super nice
Some of the rooms are very small
Price per night is very expensive
Dinner costs 34 euros extra
Yoga extra easily adds up to 300 euros a day. You should know that. All in all, a great hotel.
