A very good family-run hotel in a great location.

We were very satisfied, the hosts were very helpful, and the staff was very friendly.
Rooms very clean and also large enough for us (we had one of the smallest, Nebelhorn).
A very good breakfast with freshly prepared eggs according to the guest's wishes, fruit, very tasty muesli, various breads and rolls, and cake.
A beautiful sauna area, small but nice, towels and bathrobes are all provided.
We had a wonderful time and drove home feeling refreshed.

Enjoy relaxed Oberstdorf

Wonderful family run hotel Garni, in a quiet location, super suitable to start hiking right away. We had a beautiful double room with mountain views. The whole house is very clean. The great breakfast made us start the day great. The small sauna area with swimming pool we also liked very much. Thank you for the great, relaxed holiday to the whole team. We will definitely come back.

Hotel with a feel-good atmosphere

The Hotel Menning is located on the quiet outskirts of Oberstdorf, only a few minutes walk to the centre of the village, the Nebelhornbahn or numerous restaurants.
The rooms are very clean and well equipped. From the sunny balcony you can enjoy the view of the mountains.
The service was absolutely top ! The staff was friendly from the first to the last minute, helpful and always seen with a smile.
Breakfast is prepared as a rich buffet, hot drinks and egg dishes are served separately.
The hotel is very lovingly decorated by the owner and thus spreads a special feel-good atmosphere. The very well-kept garden with many rest and seating invites you to linger.
The hotel offers Wi-Fi, a swimming pool to relax in and in summer the Allgäu-Walser Card, which includes free use of the bus and mountain railways.
This opens up to the guest
numerous leisure activities such as the ride to the Nebelhorn, Ifen etc.
Our stay at the Hotel Menning was all around perfect. We felt at home here, it was an excellent starting point for everything we wanted to experience.

Always happy our home in Oberstdorf

We have been visiting this family-run hotel for 15 years now. Here you can relax and feel good all around. Everything is taken care of, the staff is super nice and constantly trying to make it nice to the guests. The rich breakfast buffet leaves nothing missing, the location is perfect, our dogs are welcome, the rooms very nicely decorated. The spa area is small and fine. We have already booked for next year. Here the guest is really welcome. Thanks for everything. We will definitely be back

Lovely, homely, welcoming hotel in quiet location

The quiet location of thus hotel was appreciated after previously staying in a noisy popular ski location the week before. The hotel itself is very homely and the staff were very hospitable and friendly. We had a large renovated room which was very comfortable and the breakfast nice enough, and it was only a short walk to the centre of Oberstdorf. Only stayed a few nights, but could have easily stayed longer. Recommend this hotel.
