great stay in the heart of the city, if a little pricey

A very enjoyable stay at the Radisson Blu Mannheim and would happily return.
The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It's right in the heart of Mannheim, surrounded by the main shopping streets, restaurants and cafés, making it an excellent choice for both business travellers and anyone visiting the city for a short break.
Although parking is expensive, there is a large, easily accessible underground car park, which makes arriving by car very straightforward.
The hotel itself is modern, stylish and well maintained. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, with excellent air conditioning that was particularly welcome during the hot weather. The bathroom was equally modern, with a good-sized shower and high-quality fittings.
Breakfast is served on the top floor, where you can enjoy lovely views across the city. The buffet offers an excellent selection, and there are also freshly prepared à la carte options available. It was an excellent way to start the day.
The rooftop bar is another highlight, providing a relaxed atmosphere with great views over Mannheim. It's a perfect place to unwind with a drink after a day of work or sightseeing.
Staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. Overall, this is a high-quality hotel that offers everything you would expect from an upscale Radisson Blu. It isn't the cheapest option in Mannheim, but the excellent location, modern facilities, comfortable rooms and high standard of service make it well worth considering

Great choice in Mannheim

Top hotel in the middle of the city. Everything within walking distance. Nice rooms, good breakfast. Friendly staff

American style beds and AC

Overall this was a good hotel. It had a king size bed meeting an American’s standard. Air conditioning was good, but had to constantly be adjusted down and was restricted to 18 as the lowest temperature. Shower had no curb and was not properly pitched so water didn’t stay in the shower. They only give you 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels and a bath mat (bath mat wasn’t big enough to block the water) so we had to get extra towels to roll one up at the shower door otherwise water would run out into the room. I found many of the staff cold and unwelcoming with many of the not being friendly or welcoming and seemed annoyed you were there. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to give a friendly smile or hello.

Best hotel in Mannheim

We have now been to the Radisson Blu Hotel in Mannheim for the third time and were once again impressed. We particularly appreciate the central location, the tranquility, the modern tasteful design, the wonderful rooms (we had a Superior room), the cleanliness, the excellent breakfast, and the friendly and calm service of the staff. The Rooftop Bar is definitely worth a visit as well.

Beautiful and modern hotel in a prime location in Mannheim

The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, and everything very modern. Good breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Thank you very much!
