I have stayed at a few properties in Ismaning now. The breakfast is good but could benefit from some variety for the benefit of guests staying for longer stays. I ate the same breakfast for an entire week. :( I liked that the rooms have small fridges. That's actually what drove me to pick this hotel this time. The ability to have the option to buy cold meals from the grocery store and keep them refrigerated (although the fridge is quite small.) The beds are just average in terms of comfort but that seems to be standard in Germany. The hotel was very clean and the maid did a good job. The host is very accommodating, even with a language barrier. The area is good. It's an 8 min walk to the SBahn station. There are a few good restaurants nearby including Ricks's on the same block. The park is nearby. It has a beautiful and quaint small town feel. Would I stay again? Maybe. The breakfast was better across the street at Hotel Zur Post, but they had no fridges. Other hotels have spas. I may try one of them next.

Great parking right outside. Lovely breafast with many choices. Beautiful area to walk around with great dining options.

I enjoyed my one night stay before flying out of the Munich airport. Proximity to the S Line is great, small town vibes, nice and quiet conditions. The room was clean and the area was nice.

Avarage quality hotel. For the similar price you can find much better hotel in the area, even across the street. In addition, at the end I had an unpleasant surprise, because their card reader did not work and I had to go to ATM for cash. So it’s better to be prepared for such a situation.

a good place to stay
I stayed here in September /October 2024 for one week, since the "ERBER" in Fischerhaeuser was "Sold Out". this was my third stay over the years. It is still a great place to stay. Parking can be overwhelming, but you also can park in the street.
The Lady working at the Reception, hard working , puts in many hours, but the SMILE on her face is missing. The rest of the staff I encountered were very friendly.
I had a room on the ground floor, very clean as always @ ERBER. There was no Safe to put your valuables and no Magnifying Mirror either, this we should have for € 170.oo per day...
The Breakfast room looks " blah" The one at Erber's up the road has a Bavarian motiv which is much more pleasant. The Quality of the Buffet is very good you find all sorts of food items here. You brew your own Coffee. You will NOT leave hungry.
This Erber is near the train Station taking you either to Munich or the Munich airport.
My stay was pleasant, and I am sure I will be back. I recommend staying here.
