An all-round successful evening!!!
On 24.7.24 to a birthday party again in the mince for dinner, it was so nice, the quiet location, the magical garden, an attentive service and an excellent food, an all-round successful evening, THANK YOU, definitely come back, Gabriele Märtens :))

Shame for the evening
There were four of us at the mince for dinner last night. To put it mildly, it was an outrage what we were served. It would lead too far to describe the meat and side dishes lying on the tellers only so much, it was an absolute imposition and indeed on all four plates and on each a different dish. Fry the meat until it was hard, the fries cold and just fried. The plates very hot and the rest, so what lay on them almost cold. By the way, the service was simply bad. All in all, never eat meat again.

Not recommended for the family
We were very happy to come here for breakfast, this has been done with the last two stays unfortunately. The sausage was partly inedible, so the smell already told you that something was wrong with it.
The service, a horror. The receptionist is still nice, but from entering the restaurant it stops completely. The tone of interaction is frightening.
The worst thing, however, is dealing with children, so I can only advise anyone who wants to peddle children there, look for something else. Normal play in abandoned rooms is not tolerated. In the end we were advised to look for another establishment in the future as our children "very much affect the general peace at breakfast".. so yes I am looking for a shop for our family that at least tries to cool the sausage.
I hope the review reaches one or the other who then thinks twice about visiting the shed.

Excellence mixed with incompetence
It is a mixture of excellent and terrible.
Rooms are excellent, spacious, nicely furnished, silent, well lit and equipped, very good. Beds are big and comfy. There is a huge reading chair in each room.
Warm meals are tasty, provide interesting new flavors, a clear recommendation.
Beautiful and well-kept landscaping, perfect to enjoy the outside or even to look at from the inside.
Breakfast buffet is served in a tight space and more or less standard, no more.
Personnel is mixed. Most are friendly, some are not. We had a 3 and a 5 course menu during our stay, information about what they were serving us had to be requested for each course, first time the waiter replied: don´t you have it on your written confirmation? Quite a few smelled like they had just come from their smoking break.
Service management was awful, not open to any criticism and absolutely needs improvement.
We had a birthday party, no support for the celebration beyond standard restaurant service was provided, offered or even discussed.
We were a party of 5, with one person requesting gluten-free. We stayed for 3 days. Day one it worked. Day 2 they had forgotten all about it. Day 3 they were sorry.
You had to arrange per meal how to pay for the drinks. I wanted to pay them all each and every time. I had to go to the individual main waiter to make the arrangement. They were always different. No alternative offered, none provided even on request. So basically it feels like you book the overnight stay and each meal separately and it is you who has to do the coordination between all those services, which is difficult when they tell you "we should have known about this yesterday".
So my recommendation: it is a good place to visit for a night, a lunch or an evening meal. Avoid breakfast and longer stays or just be happy with what you get.

Drastic price increases from 2023 to 2024
Excellent quality, we have known the minced meat for over 30 years. The prices in the restaurant have always been high. However, they were raised by around 20% from 2023 to 2024!!!
Wheat beer in May 2023 was €4.80, now in May 2024 it is €5.90. The price of food has also risen. Incomprehensible given all the cost increases we are all currently experiencing.
