An Incredible stay!

I just spent 6 nights at Hotel Goldenes Schiff while visiting my daughter who just moved to Grimma. It was the perfect place to stay. 7 minute walk to the train and bus station, close to cafes and grocery stores (5 minute walk) and along bus routes as well. The room I had was a very generous size, quiet and very clean. The restaurant and Bar downstairs were very convenient, had excellent meals and served A light breakfast each morning. Everyone at the hotel was kind and helpful and always went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I will be back as will my family members when they go to visit as well!
Thank you for a wonderful week and a traditional German experience.

If Grimma is our target again, then we are repeat offenders

The staff is on edge, helps carry the suitcases, the rooms are clean, the SERVICE IS CLASSIC, the food offered is varied and very good; the beer garden is a pleasure, even if there are very many guests present, an optimal service. Value for money is right .

Very nice discovery!!!

Superb hotel, very good restaurant in a very nice decor, perfect staff.
The boss was adorable, he took me to my place of work after the taxi ordered the day before made me jump.....
I highly recommend!!!
I'll be happy to go back.

Very helpful, friendly staff

The bed was too low for my frail father.
They immediately tried to get an extra mattress.
And they also put fresh sheets on it straight away. The staff were very helpful, friendly and understanding.
The food was excellent

Nettes Hotel mit bester Besatzung

Hübsches Hotel in der Innenstadt von Grimma. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Großes Restaurant (mediterran/ griechisch) mit rasanter Bedienung. Die Zimmer sind sauber, jedoch bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Auch die Beherbergung von Familien mit kleinen Kindern stellt kein Problem dar; Kinder sind herzlich willkommen. Aufgrund des großen Restaurants ist die vollkommene Ruhe beim Essen nicht garantiert, ist jedoch gut zu tolerieren.
