Cosy stay at the Freyhof

Great hotel, the staff were really helpful with booking a taxi for us the next day. Comfy rooms, breakfast.

Great, well-maintained hotel in a super location!

A really well-managed house in the heart of Freiberg! What I particularly liked:
Central location – charging station in the public parking lot in front of the building.
Cleanliness: Everything was spotlessly clean and the very modern bathroom was well-maintained.
The breakfast: A buffet that was designed with great attention to detail.
There were minor deductions in the B-grade for the rigid television on the side wall and the wooden bed frame, which one can easily bump into. The coffee at the buffet could also benefit from a quality upgrade.
However, these are minor issues compared to the great overall impression and the warm service. I felt very comfortable and will definitely return!

Great hotel, centrally located

There were 30 of us staying here.
A quiet hotel, centrally located on the market square in Freiberg, surrounded by an old city wall. Short walk to the shopping arcade and shopping street with many shops and food options.
Large breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff.
Rooms with TV, free WiFi. Sufficient parking spaces at the hotel. E-charging station available.

Amazing Hotel

First of all, there is parking right behind the hotel, which is a huge plus. Free from Saturday from 2 pm until Monday morning. (Stand February 2024). When we walked into the hotel, we were greeted by a very friendly lady. She explained everything to us and off we went to our room. We had a lovely family room, which was extremely clean and smelled lovely. The beds are very comfortable. I wish I had read the part before where it says I could have asked for another pillow. Well I know for the next time. We even got a little chocolate on our pillow and water as a welcome (again, stand 2024). Breakfast was beautiful. The most amazing selection of anything your heart desires. We will definitely return. Freiberg is a beautiful little town, and this hotel is right in the center and walking distance from all the sights. The view from the hotel windows is also breathtaking.

Excellent

We stayed at the top floor appartment of Hotel Freyhof, which was excellent. Spacious and very clean, everything felt brand new with a great, well-equiped kitchen. Breakfast was a true treat and staff was very friendly. No hassle at all. Check-in and check out took only a minute or two. All quiet within the hotel, although there was construction in Freiberg which started quite early. There's a spacious parking area next door which felt very safe. There's a small fee though from 8:00-18:00 so make sure you have some cash or a bank card that works. The hotel is within the 'Altstadt' (historic city center), bordering the Untermarkt and practically next to the Freiberger Dom. Great views from the appartment in three directions. The building itself is 500 years old; the appartment felt brand new though.
