Homely

Good location. Spectacular views of the Alps in a good day. good point to travel to places that are near.
A family hotel run by an elderly couple who do not speak English but with a desire to help. They have the "red card" that give free access to many places - must check the list in the web.
For a deposit you will get the card and when you return the card , you get the money back.
The rooms are large and clean
Breakfast is satisfying

Friendly but we were a little disappointed

There was a very large party eating in the restaurant when we arrived, and as the menu didn't look like there was much for the three veggies in our party of four, we looked elsewhere to eat. Perhaps if they had been less busy and we had been able to give some notice, we would have felt happier about asking them to cater for us but we felt a bit awkward asking.
The pictures on the website made us think we were going to somewhere rural and with garden or fields around, but in fact it is on the edge of a pretty uninspiring housing area and not particularly lovely. The furniture in our room was nice but the views were of suburban housing.
Breakfast was great, of course, as you'd expect in Germany.
There is free wifi, but you have to be in the public areas to use it.

Warm hospitality and good location

Recommended for staying in the south and center areas of the schwartzwald (black forest).
It is located near the Titisee and Schluchsee lakes, Near Lidl, and not far from Freiburg and the kids parks.
However, one of the main reasons to stay is the great hospitality of the owners. At the front door we were warmly greeted with our names, taken to see the very nice rooms, and offered a local liquor as a welcome gesture.
Breakfast is great, and dinners were excellent. Try the trout fish (Forelle), really recommended.
All in all the staying was really great.
Two points to consider, not uniquely here, but encountered in other places in the schwartzwald, as well.
One is the sometimes limited WIFI coverage through the facility. A good connection may be present only in the public areas, and not in the room.
Second and more important issue is the unwillingness to work with credit cards. So when time to pay arrives, you suddenly get an excuse like "problem with the telephone line", "Telekom is not doing their work" and similar reasons. So be prepared with cache.
Other than that the place is clean, warm, tasty and very friendly.
We enjoyed.

Warm and homely hotel

The hotel is run by a lovely couple, Nada and Milan, giving the guests a warm and homely feeling. Every request was answered willingly and with a smile. We stayed in room 17, small but cozy, with a balcony with a wonderful view. Our friends stayed in room 19, larger and more spacious. Breakfast is good and you can eat dinner at the restaurant based on traditional dishes from the kitchen of the Black Forest. Suitable for "star" trips in the Black Forest.
We would be happy to stay there again.

Charming little hotel!

I stayed at the Hotel Charlotte while on recent business in Eisenbach. Pretty Black Forest location, friendly hosts, nice rooms, clean as a whistle. Such a nice stay. Parking is fine. Breakfast is the usual tasty fruhstuck. I would be happy to return.
