Wonderful days in a cozy country hotel

Very nice, modern but comfortably furnished country hotel. Everything is very clean and beautifully renovated, nice room with balcony, comfortable bed and friendly, bright furnishings. Very good restaurant with local, fresh dishes. Large terrace that invites you to linger. Almost completely barrier-free, elevator in the building. Very friendly, helpful staff. You can feel completely at home here. Please note: the restaurant is closed on Sundays, the next restaurant is in the neighboring town.

Delicious meal and service

We took our hosts here for a thank you and farewell dinner. It is a hotel but houses a very nice restaurant. We were promptly seated and taken care of by a traditionally dressed waitress. We had between us salads, steaks, schnitzel, pasta dishes, beer and wine. Everyone was happy with their meal I particularly liked the schnitzel, perfectly cooked. I ordered the small portion and it was still too much. The salads were very fresh.
There is plenty of parking.

Black Forest visit by U3A Torrevieja, Spain

We were a group of nearly 50 people and we were very well looked after. The rooms are modern and clean, the food was excellent, there was free Wi-Fi and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for groups or individuals. A great centre for exploring the Black Forest region, the hotel is set in a small village in beautiful countryside. Would certainly stay there again.

Woderful in everyway

Great stay in this very friendly, clean, family owned hotel. Rooms are roomy and bright .Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered in a lovely dining room.. Breakfast was included in our room rate. There were both hot and cold offerings. fresh breads, fruits, yogurt, eggs and more. All of the meals were wonderful. Dining service is both indoor and outdoor.
Definitely would stay here again

A very clean, traditional hotel with all modern facilities; friendly staff

We were visiting Germany for the first time in order to watch the football tournament in nearby Oberndorf. This is a very clean, comfortable and modern hotel situated in beautiful countryside ideal for cycling and walking, and on the fringe of the Black Forest . It was a great 'find' for us, being a short car journey from Oberndorf am Neckar, and also allowing us to take the opportunity to explore the region. The staff were very friendly and helpful, loaning us maps to find our way around. The local town of Dornhan has a supermarket, restaurant (the hotel also has a good restaurant of its own, reasonably priced) and a pleasant semi-rural feel. We would definitely visit this hotel again.
