We stayed 2 nights in the 75 m2 deluxe apartment (ferienwohnung) located across the road from the hotel. It is a nice and spacious modern apartment very suitable for 4 people (we were 3). Great location with a fantastic view of the Mosel valley, Mosel river and Cochem city center from the large terrace. Nice breakfast and good restaurant. Convenient (and free) parking right across the road from the hotel.

The hotel has a nice location and the staff were friendly. Our room had an old smell, and the shower head was broken, causing water to spray across the bathroom. We visited during a very hot period, and while the hotel clearly states there is no air conditioning, a fan would have made the room much more comfortable. We also had dinner at the hotel. Unfortunately, the food was very basic and felt more like pre-prepared convenience food than freshly cooked. Overall, an average stay.

We would gladly return.

I can recommend this hotel. The staff was very nice, the room was clean, the breakfast was excellent, and there was a lovely outdoor terrace. I would book the hotel again.

Short break before high season

Located very idyllic in a quiet residential area. Nevertheless, you are also on foot fast (about 10min) in the city center, the way back uphill takes a few minutes longer. But there are still buses going up and down all day and also late in the evening, if you don't like walking or are not good on foot.
The rooms, we stayed in the renovated part, are great. I deliberately write the rooms because we have seen more than one. Very clean, cozy and modern. We lacked nothing.
Then there is the operating family, no matter what concern we had, everything was taken care of. Very dedicated, always friendly and obviously with a lot of passion.
But also the staff deserves praise here, unfortunately in this day and age you rarely experience such friendly and also qualified employees.
Unfortunately, we only had our dinner on the last day in the in-house restaurant, because it was really super delicious. In the city it was possibly minimally cheaper, but also maximally worse. There are identical menus in many restaurants, very frightening. Unfortunately, I am a bit more demanding when it comes to eating, Cochem itself was rather a disappointment, apart from the restaurant here. It combines classic dishes with innovative and contemporary cuisine. The dinner here was an absolute highlight.
Thanks to the family and staff - gladly again!!!

Very nice accommodation

Very nice clean house. Would gladly return. Definitely recommended.
