I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel.

I absolutely cannot recommend the Grand Hotel Binz based on my personal experience.
The rooms look old and dirty. There was a huge stain on the sofa. If the housekeeping staff didn't notice that, I wonder what else they overlooked. The room had an unpleasant smell.
But now to the (biggest) point of criticism. I very much hope that all animal and nature lovers will avoid this hotel in the future:
During my stay or my visit, I observed that there were several dead birds in the nets attached to the garage ceiling. It is a protected bird species, and the veterinary office even advised me to file a complaint against the hotel. The birds probably died an agonizing death in the nets.
As a result, I asked the hotel several times, both verbally and in writing, to remove the nets or to find a solution that I consider more animal-friendly to protect the cars.
Instead of an agreement or a constructive exchange, I received a letter from a lawyer after my inquiry. I found this reaction additionally disappointing.
My review is based on these personal experiences. Everyone can form their own opinion from this. I would have liked an open dialogue and a solution to the problem.

Everything is perfect

We are currently at the Grand Hotel Binz and would like to express our absolute satisfaction. A really beautiful hotel with a certain charm and very friendly staff. Location, room, wellness area, and breakfast are absolutely top for us. We will definitely come back.

My stay in Binz

If you travel a lot and when you enter the hotel, see the room and will be served at the reception then you will see right away, that this is not by far a 5 star hotel. The hotel was not full so I kindly asked if I could have a sea view room " not possible ", I also kindly asked what time is the breakfast " everything is in the flyer ". I strongly believe a customer service training is needed! Besides the hotel simply does not have the 5 star quality, interior, design etc. Only the location is stunning. Pitty.
