A Gem not to be Missed

Convenient, quiet location just a few minutes from Hermannplatz; lots of cafes and shops nearby; super peaceful garden with tables, perfect for sitting outside with a bottle of something chilled; the room was enormous and spotlessly clean; hotel staff were out-of-this-world friendly and helpful; price was a full 25EUR cheaper than anything similar that I could find. Overall: this is a gem and not to be missed. Make it your go-to place for your next visit to Berlin.

Caravan stay

I loved the quirky feeling of this place. Staying in a caravan was an unusual experience. The inner yard was very pretty and it was lovely to sit there in the evening enjoying the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, as usual, got the worst caravan even though the place was quite empty. At least it was possible to look at the more beautiful caravans through the window.
Check-in could be smoother. They say the reception is open until 6pm, but they still ask you what time do you arrive, and when you inform them, they still aren't there then, but you have to call them that you've arrived.
This place is located next to a very Middle Easterny neighbourhood, so if you like that kind of vibe, this is the perfect place for you. There is a very nice Sudanese restaurant and Theater im Keller show just around the corner.
This was more of a hostel than a hotel with a large bathroom that was shared with the other caravaners.

We had a perfect couple of days in the Hüttenpalast. The garden is just beautiful, a peaceful place to rest in the vibrant city. Just perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. Friendly people and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

Feel at home in the centre of Berlin

Lovely people, spacious caravans and a great cafe, too.
After one of the friendliest welcomes ever, my son and I put our stuff in the caravan. At 1.9m I'm the short one but there was enough space for both of us. We took a drink from the cafe to the courtyard and then explored the neighbourhood, which had a tiny independent cinema/restaurant, fantastic junk shop and an Ethiopian restaurant. Plenty more but I don't want to spoil the surprises for you.
Everything was perfect.

Great idea, fantastically implemented

Our 2-day trip to Berlin was greatly enhanced by this incredibly beautiful hostel. The children and we had so much fun in this creative "hotel". Super clean, the ambience is truly unique and highly recommended, especially as the location is extremely colorful with an incredible number of different restaurants in the neighborhood. Super, real 5 stars. The breakfast cafe attached is also highly recommended and delicious.
