Not a good place to stay.

The good reviews surprise me a lot.
The hotel is so very unkempt - except for the rooms. They are clean. At check-in, I felt uncomfortable; everything was very unfriendly. I canceled the breakfast right away. The location felt eerie to me and just too dirty. Never again.
The price-performance ratio is simply out of proportion!

Pleasant overnight stay

The place was run by a couple who spoke little English, but we accomplished check-in and getting our Harley parked off-street and undercover fairly easily.
Our room was spacious, bright, spotless and well appointed.
The yard and the view of it were not much, but that was not what we were there for and it was not an expensive place at all.

Weirdest hotel ever

A former chinese restaurant, with rooms on the second floor. We had booked the family suite, which turned out to be 2 rooms next to eachother. There was a shower in the closet (!!) and an extra bathroom, which included a refigrerator... It is run by an elderly chinese couple, with limited german language skills.
The walls are paperthin, breakfast is terrible, but the beds were decent. An extremely weird experience. If you can get it dirt cheap and lower your expectations, it could be allright for a couple of days. At full price, there HAS to be better options in the area.

Eight hours sleep, plusbreakfast

A nice Chinese couple opened their almost closed hotel at around mid-night (we had not booked) and we had a simple "night-bread" and a beer. Then sleep.
The landlord seems to be a humoristic chap, but I'm afraid he lost us several times. But their little Japanese cat is lovely. She is with their son in Japan and only available over the internet. So, this is a cat-loving hotel with no cats. Good to know for those who are sensitive to cat furs.

Chinese restaurant hotel

When we arrived at the doors we got surprised by the look of it, a small shabby restaurant that tried to be a hotel. The house/building was very old, there was a strong damp smell when we entered. We went inside the restaurant and there was a old Chinese man standing behind the kitchen counter, he waved us in. He didn't understand any english but he really tried hard to communicate. Apparently he was the owner, he and his wife were the only ones working. We were the only ones in the building. We tried to sleep but it was quite hard to fall asleep when there is some kind of bike gang nearby that was driving around outside. We also heard a loud bang at the middle of the night which almost sounded like a gunshot. Police sirens which could have been related to the bikers woke us up at 5:00 am. Finally at 8:00 am we went down to eat our breakfast and the owner of the hotel gave us two big water bottles and some wet wipes for our ride. we had a nice breakfast. Also don't trust the pictures at booking.com the pictures are deceiving and not true to how it really looks like.
