great hostel, really good value

Brilliant value for money at this hostel, especially in an expensive city. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and helped us to plan our trip itinerary recommending some nice spots in Stockholm. The location is also great as it takes no time to get the metro into the city centre.

Seems dodge

Not the best hostel. Check in was really weird and in a very unorthodox way. No form of professional procedure.
dorm rooms had no space in them for anything other than bunk beds. No individual charging stations and no space for luggage. Bathrooms were so small and very poor quality.
Honestly didn't feel comfortable or safe only stayed here because it was cheap.

Stay away from this place as a solo female traveller

Stay away from this place as a solo female traveller. Im swedish and i have travelled all over the world staying at many hostels over the years so im very suprised to say I never felt so unsafe as i did in this place. Very dirty and acually disguisting kitchen, bathroom and doorm. No staff to bee seen. Was woken up by a female screamingin my doorm she would call the police because a male had touched her breasts at 04:00.. all over a very scary vibe. Felt like everyone knew the code to our doorm and two men just came in at 03:00 one night looking for empty beds. (Even if they did have a booking i dont feel like you should be able to check in at 03:00 at night?!?) Even considered to leave the hostel at night and just sleep at the trainstation. Please dont stay here only beacuse its cheap..

It was clean, stuff were so nice. Location was ok too. Management team was okay, they could handle all kinda problems. It was safe and nice. I liked and recommend.

Acco Hostel Sodermalm - Beware of its false advertisement!

Staff - Lazy, careless and rude volunteers because they live there for free and don't get a salary
Amenities - False information! You get a surprise when you arrive which is to pay extra 60SEK for the beddings and there's no hair dryer
Kitchen - You can't cook any food! Disgusting kitchen and cafe!!! There's no stove just a microwave oven. One guest couldn't stand it so she washed the dishes that piled up.
Fridge - Dirty and not emptied at all! Old food from guests were stocked up there for months!!!
Bathroom - Unscrubbed, dirty and old!!!
Rooms - Aren't as white and immaculate as in the website photos. They're smaller and the carpet is dirty not getting vacuumed!
Wi-fi - Not its best, just get lucky
Find another hostel even if you're in a budget. It will not be worth your money to stay at this place especially if you're staying at Stockholm for a longer period.
