Satisfied

We stood here a week with a trailer. Fresh and clean in the service building, in all simplicity! Close to the sea where we could swim. Quiet and quiet camping. Large areas!! 30 km into Visby, many attractions along the way, so if you have a car it is no problem. Easy to check in and out

Fantastic area - poor cottage/cleaning.

Great location and great location!! Spartan & rundown cottage. Nothing that we have a problem with when we travel. BUT: the cottage stank of urine when we arrived in the evening. It came from the small bedroom where previous guests had left a urine-soaked mattress that staff had not fixed. When we carried out the mattress and accessories and a proper airing it worked out. The front desk did not offer any discount on the cost we paid for bed linen & cleaning which pulls down the rating considerably. Toilet that ran and cramped kitchen without extractor fan which resulted in the fire alarm going off when we (carefully) fried stuff.

Mixed experience

Second time we live here in a caravan. Quiet and nice area with nice hiking areas. Last year we swam in the small pool which the children appreciated very much. Booked therefore over midsummer this year but even though it said on the website that they had a pool it was closed. That it opened after midsummer as first they would have liked to have been informed about on the website as that was a big reason why we booked this particular campsite. Sad children and a much more boring Midsummer Eve than I thought.
Very worn on the playgrounds but quite ok showers and toilets. Much older guests at the campsite which contributed to a calm atmosphere.

Okay but nothing more

If you come by motorhome or caravan this campsite is perfectly fine. The cottages are very simple and the area not so cozy. Declined.
The service building is new and is okay. Close to the sea and beautiful area.
Perfect place to stay a few nights. But then in their own accommodation. Not affordable cottages unfortunately.

Stayed here for 1 night in a tent.
Internet connection was bad out here.
For shower it cost 5kr for few minutes, you buy the old 5kr coin/token in the reception.
A restaurant and beach nearby.
It's about 4km to the grocery store, but you can buy some stuff at the reception or the restaurant too.
The electricity outlet at the tent/car space is a normal one, no need for an adapter.
We only stayed here for a stop over to continue our journey in Gotland.
It's a calm place but not fancy or bad
